Her passive is def better than the recon passive since you get information throughout the whole match. Not to mention that her marked ability only alerts one team per deathbox instead of alerting the entire map of where you are like the recon passive does.

Uh yes it does. Any recon legend who hacks a survey beacon sends an alert notification to everyone on the map showing the location of the hacked survey beacon.
The only legend who can do this safely from a distance due to his drone, is Crypto.
Crypto can hack a survey beacon with his drone and be quite a distance away because all the other recon legends have to personally interact with the survey beacon.

I think Ash should get a unique movement passive like revenant gets because she's a simulacrum. And a damn pilot.

Extra niche tip: on zipline exits like the top of cage on kings canyone you can put the tether on the opposite of where they launch automatically off to so they get ripped back and fall down the hole delaying the assault
I use her ult to reposition right behind the enemy and kill them from behind rarely do I use it for escape if I do it’s for the high ground
they should buff her tact, 2 charges would make community cry but what about it becomes a push tact, she keeps the ensnare but now can be thrown and will instantly destroy controller defenses, like a caustic blocks a door you throw the tact and it destroys every trap in its range
you can also throw a snare at your ult when you come out to demobilise your enemy if they follow you
I just started maining ash last season she just needs a small buff to her portal make it a little further or so the enemy can’t use it
As cool as her passive is i dont like that it alerts the enemy team.
Like Bloodhound doesn't alert the team with his white ravens. Her whole Gimmick is Ninja. But yet Ninjas dont make there pressence known when tracking a target. I wish they would remove all the alerts for every single damn thing.

Ash is such a niche legend, like your ability to look at deathboxes is meh, but if your a good player you should already have great awareness & it can be more of a distraction & the data knife part is straight up useless you are actively 3rd partying or hoping for the people you pinged to come your way or could be your end if you weren't prepared.
The tact is pretty good & requires you see moments where it be best, for example a good tether in a 1v1 gets you a free cell, hangs people who drop from height, pressure movement legends to use their ability & easy damage from distance. But it could be better the binding aspect isnt too tight. Id rather their q be replaced with something else or maybe the ult be her q giving her great solo ability, more on hand team utility & quickly hunt down player she pings with her passive.
Her ult is needs buffs & the fact more people dont think so is concerning. Clunky, too short distance & too long cooldown for what its worth, pretty loud, a bad escape & slow activation.They need to make the cooldown shorter for its current distance & activate faster or make the distance longer & increase the travel speed through the void. Id prefer if they rework it, like to have 3 phase breach charges each travel 40 meters & grant a speed boost to ash on exit or give the ability to set the entrance from a distance & make it a two way portal. The first slash is project that deals 30 dmg & marks them for 10 seconds. If you set the exit , the target will be moved to the exit. Requires (L.O.S) to displace your target & if you set the portal without (L.O.S) the entrance will set but the tagret wouldnt be displaced.

dont listen to anything he says about the tactical. its better for damage farming and will not offer any free kills. it only last 5 seconds so its near impossible to capitalize off of
If they added a 1.25 second silence like seer has it would be much better and feel more like a trap-snare
It’s easy to capitalize on her snare. If a team falls back snare the straggler and delete them. I’ve gotten plenty of easy kills by snaring someone in the open and capitalizing on their poor position.
Her snare and her ult can turn a 2v2 into a 2v1 very quickly in duos if your teammate is expecting it. I won two games last night off of snaring one of the enemies and we focus fired that person. We even got a kill on snaring someone using an evac tower last night.
