Just switched to mnk, today and I think it's just going to take time. Was dope on the controller but I know mnk is better. Just takes time
how are you now?
Same bro. I started a couple of months ago, I was so annoyed at the beginning because the movement was harder for me. Plus I would stumble on the keys and hit the wrong thing. Now I’ve improved and can actually pull out wins again. Still have some way to go, but it’s definitely better than controller.
We all on the improvement arc keep grinding lads
I feel you brother, switched over today and I’ve been a roller boy my entire life, time to join the master race
Same got a pc a week ago having hard time used to mnk
Definitely tip 10 because it’s so true I personally struggle with this because I watch so much RUclips on how to get better but it’s really time and effort
Switched to M&K a couple days ago and I know its going to take a lot of time to get use to but I am ready to become a master at this!
Same here just started yesterday after being on controller since I was small. Got to stick with it, it’ll be worth it.
How is that going for you? I'm new to the M&K life.
Nice vid.
Thanks for all the tips
aim labs ask for email but when i put mine in it said its already in use even tho i havent touched aim labs in my life
I use the rear left side button on my mouse for crouch which really makes slide hopping easier.
🙏🏽
Lmao, I've been watching the vids and I needed some tips for M&KB for Apex. Vid came out just in time.
I'm trying to learn tap strafing on apex Legends.
I just started Apex and the videos have been helping me alot
Plz make a controller one too tips like this on controller
That arm one is good; I keep using my wrists and have to keep resetting my wrist in the middle of a fight, but my desk isn't large enough for my to put my arm on it and nor is my room big enough, so I'll have to find some way to do it comfortably
I have the exact same issue. I play some valorant and honestly even tho I have a small desk, I lowered my sens and started using more of my arm and it's been helping
I just started this game 3 days ago and my DPI is 1200 w 2.5 sensitivity. Anything lower just seems way too slow to me. Maybe one day I’ll dial it down, but it works most of the time 🤷🏻♂️
we all thought that way, until. "most of the time" did not cut it anymore. try like 1 0 sense lmfao you'll win more gun fights if you've got the mouse pad space.
i feel like most who switch from controller tend to start off with higher sens bc its comparable to stick movement but after playing on high sense for like a year when i switched to lower sense the improvement was like immediate and crazy
@Hoàng Nam Tạ Trần 5.3?! i use 0.8-1.0 on 800dpi 😅
I'm on 1600 w 5.0 sens lol
Anyone talking about these huge sens cant aim. I know it sounds cool to say but theyre just objectively bad senses for this game because you cant track and your micro aim and flicking will be terrible... you might think it works, because skill based match making is there and youre just fighting other people that cant aim. Use a proper sens kids.
Could you do a video for the best legends for rank
Seer
What would u say are good video settings cuz I feel like I’m squinting all the time and can’t see anything but also wanna fps boost aswell any recommendations?
Switching from playing 99% of games with a controlller to suddenly playing with a mouse and keyboard (especially in an action packed game) is a STRUGGLE. But your video is really helpful. I played the first few hours of Apex with controller but was told mouse and keyboard was better so i switched. It's gonna take time but I'm working at it. Thanks for the tips!
its hard to be good when you get 30fps on lowest setings
Why not just use the arrowkeys for movement? ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️
I’m bad at the game but i get like some of the best players in my lobbies
I decided to learn mnk after realising apex was the only game I hadn’t made the switch for, meaning I was buying controllers when they broke for one game 😂 it’s so tough starting out and why is the default sens FIVE!
1:10 it says r-99 on the right and C.A.R. on the left, but it's actually reversed. The left side of the guns are distinctly different as the left one (the C.A.R.) has a red piece with a target on it
OCD?
I got terrible eyesight so idk if that's why I can't notice it or what but I play 144 all day
I saw that and it hurt to read
still cant hit my shots lol
So did anyone buy hals course?
I decided to swap to mnk after I realised apex was the only game I still used controller for, so I don’t wanna keep buying controllers for one game! It’s so tough starting out
My sens is 1.8 and 1600 dpi
anyone have tips to know where the keys are bc i always look down at my keyboard any tips to play without looking?
Put your fingers on W, A, and D and the memorize the direction to reach each key from WAD. For example your index finger would be on D so you would just move it up 1 to press E or move your ring finger up once from A to press Q. Some gaming keyboards have a tiny lip on the W key mainly for blind people but also probably for people in your position.

I started a year ago and this is good for me cause I’m kinda getting better at mnk!
1:06 wait something is not right
With the new tap strafing changes you do not need to bind forward to scroll.
Tapping forward while holding your direction and rotating now achieves a 180Degree Tap strafe.
That's always been the case forward just makes it significantly easier
High dpi and low in game sensitivity is the way to go, so smooth
what is considered high dpi?
@@dark_agony421Probably above 1000. Most normal mice are set from the factory at 800
NOT A KEYBOARD TIP ,THIS A GAME TIP ALTOGETHER
400 dpi in my opinion is definitely the best way to go, it’s easier to get a feel for it, I’m 2.4 400dpi
Doesn’t matter what fov, I personally have been enjoying 90
You literally downed a guy through a rock...
Why would I want to learn a mechanic they're planning to remove?
Bro I'm level 350 and still suck somehow xD
3:38 wtf it that mouse bro 💀
I know how to have great movement, I know how to use abilities, Ik when to fight and when not, my aim is shit
what if i broke my wrist
Is there a age restriction to proguides?
First
Instead of jitter aiming look up recoil smoothing please.
The game removes all recoil if you're tracking at 4% the velocity of the classic controller settings.
yeah its wwwaaayyy easier to do im a lvl 50 and i use it fricking life saver .
@@sad-frosty4462 so glad I could help :)
how to get better with m&k
Immediately tells you to abuse jitter aiming
The car and r9 are backwards 1:05
I like the tips, but watching these videos on 60fps give me nausea because i am used to 144fps and the movement just looks a bit jittery
#firstworldproblems
no
HAHA YOU"RE GETTING ROLLED KIDS
You literally didn’t explain what you were doing or how to do anything in this video. Just told us the settings to use not how to use them. Next video…
next video hopefully will give you instant predator aim good luck
Honestly, your guides are good, but they are not helping me improving at the game. Made well, good to expose the informations, but I am not improving. Also I'm on controller and you made a bunch of guides for controller players. And I am still here even if I watched a lot of your guides. For example: I bought Maggie a few days ago and I followed your guide on her. And I am still here, a terribile mad maggie. Good but not helping.
You could know all the tricks in the book but experience and just playing is a big factor, you can't expect to be a god overnight
Sounds like you aren’t learning very well
Bruh just play the game lmao I used to be ass now I'm not just works like that
