This is a world war 2 era song by The Mills Brothers about a soldier leaving his love for the war. The woman is his wife Kathy. He definitely plays the piano. He has been very busy with Voiceplay with two absolutely epic songs, Nothing Else Matters and In My Room.

Geoff does play the piano. In fact, he bought that one specifically for this video and others to come. You’ll see it again when his next video premiers March 10.
Because VoicePlay has to work around the availability of their featured artists, sometimes they have to double up their recording schedule, which doesn’t leave Geoff time for his personal projects. For example, their March release is in editing right now (should be out soon) but they’ve already recorded their April release. Since Layne and Geoff (with help from Eli) do all the arranging, costuming, directing, editing, etc. that can sometimes interfere with separate individual projects. They also try to do about three minis a month which are now appearing on their main channel. (But the group always comes first.)
He is amazing, true! He did take January off, to focus on his family (mostly). I had never heard this either, but it is so sweet and romantic. Absolutely love it!!

Yes it's a very old song from 1944, like me LOL Yes he's fine. Geoff puts out a video each month and there is another due soon and it's stunning. And that's in addition to the monthly videos from VoiecePlay. Geoff plays piano in High and Dry, Blackbird, Shenandoah, and thie new one. And are you ok? You don't look your usual self. He took January off, but just released a new song on Patreon, so it should be out on YT in the near future 🙂

Geoff and Voiceplay released new videos this week.
Geoff... Sound of Silence. He plays the piano in this.
Voiceplay.. Golden Hour. Along with the guest, Kathy plays a toymaker while they sing.
Geoff decided to take a break in January to rest and spend quality time with Kathy and William.
He only did videos with Voiceplay. They released Nothing Else Matters and In My Room in January and February.
Geoff is doing well. Just had been a hectic time for him and VoicePlay from the end of last year to the beginning of this one, so he ended up giving himself just a bit of a rest (from making solo videos, at least, he was real busy doing VoicePlay projects and other things). One of the things was VP's Nothing Else Matters, which was supposed to be filmed months before, and then kept being pushed back and then kept getting the featured guest getting changed and then postponed until J None (who was the original choice to guest with them) was finally available again. Also, keep an eye out for a new solo video from Geoff sometime during the first half of March, it is another really great song and you'll get to see the piano again!

I think he's fine. I love that during this song his eyes will often follow Kathy. If you haven't seen In My Room (Beach Boys) with DeeJay Young (Chipmunk song at Christmas) and my top favorite and I did not expect it to be Nothing Else Matters (Metallica). It is stunning. Consider some of Geoff's solos, Blackbird, High and Dry (he did for himself), Shenandoah (he did for Kathy), VoicePlay consider It Ain't Me, Don't Stop Believin' (VP at a kids A Cappella Camp - wonderful).
You'll see more of his piano playing in Blackbird, High and Dry, and Shenandoah.
