Some places were never destined to become abandoned. This eminent 18th-century castle once thronged with life, today it is dormant.
Where this was once one of the many residences of a notable general who played a prominent role in the French revolutionary wars, in the last centuries it has been inhabited by the noble French family generations that descended from this great person.
At a certain point, however, the youngest generation turned their backs to the castle, due to rising maintenance costs for the upkeep of this dignified building. Ever since the dormant castle has been dissolving in time.
You will be astonished by the historical artifacts that are left to the elements now. Let's revive this castle for one last time, as I take you on another trip to a bygone era.

The print of the nude woman who you thought was pregnant is of a famous painting The Venus of Rubino by Titian. He was Italian and lived during the Renaissance. The fullness of her figure was his style of painting and the feminine ideal of beauty at that time.

Wow wow wow!!!! Sooo majestic, elegant and beautiful! I like old castles, they hide inside of them a lot of stories, memories and history! Seeing all these antiques and portraits on the walls make us ask ourselves a lot of questions! Who are these people, what is their story and how beautiful their life was here! 🤩🤩🤩 Some rooms are really magical, the staircase is the star of the show! Especially with the natural orange light!!! Just amazing, and as always, i like your intro, everything about it, i love your words and good choice of music 🥰 thanks for taking us to explore this really old historic castle, i really like this era. The piece of furniture by the front door, in America, is called a " deacon bench" where items can be stored inside.

The radiator that had doors in it was not to put coal, this was a warming oven, where food could be placed to keep it warm. There were radiators through out, an indication that it was radiant heating via water, although there should have been a boiler somewhere I would have thought in the cellar but did not see one as you walked through. A lot of those little doors that you opened hid the sewer stacks from all the different bathrooms, ingenious because maintenance would have been a lot easier.
The piano may have be a clavichord and not very common. The music case I believe would have been a trombone case not a violin case.
I hope they have this property on the market to be sold before it falls into further disrepair.
    Wonderful explore. Thank you.

Heyy Maureno, my dear friend, Woow, this is really a breathtakingly well preserved French château with all the furniture and
many other antique items of great interest and value! - Some rooms are so beautiful, and therefore this castle should be preserved
as a museum. - In am nearly speechless when watching your video! - Wonderful and very grand entrance hall with the orange
light coming through a window from the ceiling, providing this location with a nearly magical atmosphere!
I loved seeing that beautiful living room with the gorgeous chandelier, the enormous mirrors and the portrait paintings. - Amazing!
Wonderful piano, which represents my fav. piece in this room! - There are also some wonderful chinaware figurines visible and
some other remarkable smaller antique pieces. I had the impression looking into rooms with legit early 1820-ies - to 1840-ies
furniture, representing the so called empire style. - The private chapel was really a surprise to see and still in a very good condition.
But here I have to tell you, that private chapels in French châteaus don't seem to be so rare. In other Urbex vids, for instance
in a Bros of Decay video, there was a chapel visible and in some of the château vids from Takiany I have seen several chapels.
Thanks to your Urbex efforts and documentations you are always giving the recognition such an amazingly beautiful and stunning
location deserves before it's just falling into sad and complete disrepair. - So I can only say from the bottom of my heart:
thank you, thank you so very much dear bro, for taking us viewers again on such a wonderful tour through such a memorable
    historical location.
Take care, my dear friend, stay safe, lots of blessings and many hugs to you! - Say heyy also to my dear bro Lesley,
and I am looking forward to your vids from your grand trip. - Peace and kindest regards.

Wow! That spiral staircase is totally awesome. As you explored, I kept thinking that mirrors and the colors of the paint around the dome, made the awesome colors reflect. I think I'll try to replicate this in a small diorama. At different times of the day, I wonder if it makes the staircase look different? What did it look like when people walked down the stairs? Too bad you couldn't turn on the lights in the dining room. It would've been awesome to see how the lights with the mirrors made the room look really bright and beautiful. I'm sure the huge mirrors helped light up this beautiful castle. All the different rooms with other doors, made exploring the castle so unique. A cool find indeed.

Thanks for showing these antique building to people like me who will never see otherwise... I always wondered though about the workers that labour so hard to build these places... were they treated right??. So many places become a desolation 🤔🤔

    Bellísimo castillo
Me preguntó no hay dueños,herederos, que pasa con este tipo de abandono
    Todo muy bien conservado
Deberían convertirlos en museos con la historia
Saludos y me encanta mucho su trabajo muy excelente

The compartment that is within the heater that was in the dinning room would be used to keep a meal on a plate, or dinner rolls/bread etc warm until wanted.

A gorgeous mansion 🤩 I just loved the spiral staircase, such a unique and mesmerising style. I can’t recall ever seeing anything quite like that!
Places like these just ooze history and tradition and it’s a real pity that laws or taxes are not reformed to allow even cultural organisations or the families themselves to keep these properties inhabited in some way.
Wonderful job as always Maureno! 🙌👍

These French chateau (big money) places are just so majestic. So many wonderful pieces of history. So many well made contents. Your narration is very interesting. You tell a very good backstory to further appreciate the beauty. Even in disrepair. New to the channel and appreciate the reverence you show to every discovery. ✌️

👏👏👏 hola Explomo!!
🙋‍♀️🇨🇱😍😘♥️🙏✌️

Maureno you out did yourself on this beautiful place. Wish it didn't cost so much to restore it to it's formal glory. Love all the pictures, furniture and everything . I think the upper hidden stairs was for the servants quarter. I love this gorgeous place
