At 34:19, that photo isn't just any local priest. That is Pope John Paul II when he was old and in failing health, around the late 90's and early 2000's. The fact that they have a personal photo of him at that age means the house was inhabited through at least around the 2000's. Pope John Paul II died in April 2005.

I have my parents home to clean out & I keep putting it off because it's hard to get out there (I'm 5 hrs away) and I wouldn't be too happy knowing someone is picking through it & putting it youtube!

The whole building is clean, yet it has a lot of cleaning to complete, when places such as those became in a condition that is untouched yet, there are trespassers, it should be maintained, secured, as well as cleaned, since there are owners who happen to be doing paper work for the whole house and have them maintained and restored. For every foundation, there is always a man behind it. The chief cornerstone.

Hi dear friends from exceptional team Explomo, What a wonderfully well preserved beautiful and pristine mansion, you were showing!
I was speechless when watching and following you in mind through these still very much intact rooms. - The photo with the "priest" in
this beautiful living room is actually showing the former pope John Paul II, the Polish pope Carol Woitila, as I hope to have identified him
in a correct way on the photo. - I loved seeing these really beautiful chandeliers and the artwork on the walls. Everything was absolutely
fascinating to see, like for instance the cabinets with the intact and again beautiful porcelaine and cristal glasses. - The book, showing
the "Bohemian collection" is about some of the world famous Bohemian glass, which is since the art nouveau period very well known to collectors
worldwide. - Thank you so much for sharing this once more phantastic and amazing explore in Spain with us viewers. - For me also
you are belonging to the best explorers, and your videos are always such a pleasure to watch, and you are indeed giving the former
inhabitants with your sensitive comment a kind of a new life. - I hope, you are well and healthy. - Stay safe, dear friends, lots of blessings

¡Hola!

Of all the houses you've explored in Spain... this one reminds me the most of the house i grew up in, it's almost exactly how my mother decorated our home,, from the tapestries on the wall, to the wardrobes instead of closets, the wooden serving table for liquor, the hutch with glasses and pictures.....i really enjoyed this episode...took me back.. thanks guys! And as always, keep up the great work! ✌out!

Precisely. It’s sad that this is no longer common knowledge among younger people. Catholics had pictures of their many other catholic friends. Going to see the Pope was a really big deal.

When you showed the tapestry with the deer on the rock I thought to myself that it looked familiar & sure enough my grandmother had the exact same one in her home in Spain. One of the wardrobes was exactly like one she had too. Brought back great memories of when my family would visit her. Thanks! ❤

The brass bowl is called "BRACIERE" in Italian, "BRASERO" in Spanish and "BRAZIER" in English. Its purpose was to heat the room. they would place coals in the bowl and light them on fire. Some brazier were also a placed inside the center of very large wooden rings. The family would sometimes gather around the brazier and toast bread on the fire. A google search will turn up many photos of this very ingenious heating system. Hope this helps answering your question as to what the large brass bowl is. it is.

At 30:10 in the living room below the first cabinet, it looks like small deposits of dust, but I think that's due to termites eating away at the wood.

The black small case with a ring attached by chain is a key holder. Put the keys on the ring, drop them into the black pouch then it fits in a mans pocket much neater. In a woman's purse the keys are easier to find.

This place is really nice.l hate that people break into these places and ransack Them, looking for things to steal. Some of the places look as if with some major cleaning would be a good place to live. It's already furnished. THE perpetrator should get caught and jailed. For destroying these beautiful places. Thanks again for sharing this with Us 🙋🏿‍♀️. Have A great weekend.✝️🛐☮️💜.

I feel very strongly about giving away what you have before you die..
Share what you have, otherwise life possessions are in vain.
I like to believe Christians would know that
