@@aitran1039 Our story begins when Monie gets her flying ability stolen by her arch nemesis, the minigun-wielding Princess ''Badassia'' Spalanie. Fortunately for our little fairy, she discovers a shrine that grants her a new magical power; The Glitch Beam, a powerful reality-bending tool that turns her enemies into all sorts of fun and useful things. Now flightless, but stronger than ever, Monie embarks on a quest to confront her old rival and get her flying ability back! Of course there is deeper lore stuff but we can't spoil them ^.^
Hi Jaba! Thank you for playing our game! I was wondering if you had plans for the true endings and other bosses. I can tell you how to get to them. To get the good ending, you have to get every amethyst and get to Ibury's final boss room. To get the true ending, you have to get the four medals (which you can get after the good ending). To get the secret ending, you have to complete the compendium (after beating the boss rush) and find a secret room in Erin's school. Thank you again for your video!
@@blockeontheleafeon Ehhh, the game plays more like Mega Man most of the time. Though there are a couple of boss fights either bullet hell mechanics, and a side level (with its boss) is essentially one big Touhou reference. You’re KINDA right.
@@thelivingglitch1371 What I meant was, the game was advertised as a Touhou Fangame, And it shows with the character design. I can definitely see the Mega Man influence from the gameplay style and the way the Boss Health is displayed for example.
Not to shit on this game, but it kinda reminds me of that one Cuphead ripoff that got shat on when it came out. I guess its because of the plataform shooter mechanics with the fantasy setting.
Tbf, the biggest problems with the cuphead ripoff was generating too much expectation before launch and having an absurd price right off the bat. Of course, the game itself wasn't great either, but if it wasn't by those 2 things I mentioned the backlash wouldn't have been nearly as negative as it was. For the little I saw about this Glitch Fairy game tho, it seens to be way closer to something like IWBTG than Cuphead, but of course, I could be wrong too
Hello! I'm the programmer of the game. We were actually inspired by the Megaman X/Kirby games. The dashing and shooting is close to the first megaman X and the relation between Badassia and Monie is more like Sigma & Megaman or Kirby & King DDD. Cuphead reminds more of Contra not only because of the difficulty but also the multidirection shooting 🤔 Anyway, thanks for watching the video! 😊
I wonder if Kutaka sent in the Chicken? Would be cool if we got some more insight into the already established characters of Gensokyo like how Lost Word does things with its side stories. The cast of Gensokyo wouldn't be a main focus obviously, but considering this is a *Touhou* fangame, it would be nice to acknowledge the Source Material and even expand on some aspects.
Hi! We're the developers of the game. Thank you for your interest in our game. The Glitch Fairy is not a Touhou fangame. It doesn't take place in the Touhou World and doesn't have any characters/location from Team Shanghai Alice. Our main inspirations were Mega man/Kirby. We're big fans of Touhou, so there might be a small reference here and there, but our game takes place in its own world. Let us know if you have any questions. Hope you have a great day!
@@cannoncow5757 You're welcome. ^^ So the stuff I read was misinformed. This is an original project inspired by Touhou, Krby and Megaman that has (mostly) nothing to do with Touhou. I can appreciate that. What's with the secret ending where Erin's secret is out and Monie looks very sad? I always wondered the Lore behind that ending since that's one aspect of this game that's super fascinating. I like characters that have more going on with them than first meets the eye, and that ending has potential for characters like that. Monie getting traumatized when she's usually an optimistic and carefree person, Erin unleashing an eldritch evil into the world despite being Monie's mom and wanting the best for her, it's all really interesting.
Hello! I'm the programmer of the game 🙂 Just letting you know that this was the bad ending. There's 3 more endings to the game, and they're good/happy ones!
Thanks a lot for playing my game! 😄
Could you explain about the lore of the game, please❤

Played your game as well, it's would be fun fight both Ibury and Erin as a true final boss. For completionists of course.

Incomplete as this may be, I’m glad the game’s gaining more traction. Here’s hoping it ends up being a sleeper hit.
I mean, it *is* a Touhou Fangame. Those always seem to do well.
