Great. Thanks for that. I picked up a can of white spray paint from Halfords and it worked a treat 👍
I'm glad you brought white, most stains sealer are white due to most ceilings are white or a light colour.

I use Zinsser, their shellac based B.I.N.
Another good bit of information and video 👍
100km away from a paint shop! 😮
Most good stain sealers are shellac based and yes I was actually more like 120 km's for paint shop.

@@howtopaintinfo I went to my local hardware store and found that Polyfilla makes such a product. AND.... it accepts all paints (water or oil based) AND.... it came in white !
Bingo !
thank you . So you're saying you can choose a zinc spray for what we use for after welding for a water stain and that will stop the stain from bleeding through. I hope this reaches you and I hope you're doing well.
Yes it does and there are lots of other spray cans out there that will also work.

Hi can you tell me the procedure to repaint an internal wall that has mold on it as in what products and how to apply them. thanks so much
Use a product called Exit Mold or some bleach, that should kill the mold, wash off and prepare and paint as normal.

Could you also use any pigmented sealer or oil based primer/undercoat? I guess it would take longer to paint over. Cheers
Yes you can use oil based primer/undercoat but you need to wait at least over night before you can apply top coats.

I had a dried water stain 50cm by 50cm that I cleaned over with water and bleach, then I wiped off the bleach. I let the stained area dry off and I then painted over the stain with water based anti stain paint which is white. I'm now going to paint the whole wall in yellow. However, should I paint over the white anti stain paint first with a coat of yellow, let it dry and then paint the wall or is it ok to paint the whole wall in yellow and the small area of white anti stain paint won't show through??
Yes you should paint over the stain block first with the wall paint, Generally stain block is more shiny and sometimes can be seen as a shiny spot after rolling. If you paint it once first then it should dry with less sheen and not stand out when finished.

i like KIllz myself the latex is even good for most water stains, but heavier ones require the oil based stuff and boy does it stank
Some water based paints do work but yes bad or heavy stains need more attention.

Do you know how I can remove them off of a Halloween mask?
Not sure, try bleach but it might destroy your mask.

@@howtopaintinfo yes but there's always other work to do so i just do first with undercoat then 2 coats of matt etc when i finish
..is it ok to use OIL-BASED GLOSS to seal the stains?
Oil based flat would be better but gloss will work.

Ok ,Thanks
Why use a stain sealer at all then??
If you don't seal the stain it will bleed through final coats.
