Welcome to New York and stay on your hustle because there opportunities everywhere. And also there're a lot of Swedish people and restaurants in NY. Good Luck from person born and raised in a Brooklyn Projects.
12:33 Not surprised to hear about the racism. Crime is on the rise in NYC and certain demographics of people getting most of the blame for it. Glad you’re enjoying the city though and staying safe.
You know what’s weird. I always thought your accent sounded like you were from NY. I started following you about a year or two ago and I was surprised when I found out that you’re not even from America. You look kind of Latino, I thought maybe you were from Brooklyn.
Honestly, I came across your channel by accident. I just thought you were like really attractive in your accent. Oh my God honestly I’m on your channel to watch you. I don’t care what you put on there. I will be there and welcome to America. She come visit Florida hint, hint, no honestly, you’re adorable
Welcome to New York, it's a really nice city. But.. this isn't Stockholm or a suburb to Stockholm, be aware and don't walk around in your own little bubble because there is plenty of real creeps in this City and its surrounding areas, don't make a pattern of your walks outside no matter its daylight or dark, don't let people following you see where you live, just don't walk home if you have someone following you, try to "shake" him off first, if I would be you I would absolutely try to avoid being outside as much as possible when its dark outside and/or at night, just try to make all your errands during daylight. Just make sure to stay safe and be aware and you will manage pretty good i think. Just don't fall for nice compliments from male strangers, all of a sudden all males even here in the comments lives in NY and would love to "help" you out..
Congratulations on your job! You're not crazy. You're a fast learner. Filter out the nonsense & keep the good. New Yorkers are very opinionated. It sounds like you've got it figured out already. I lived there for 35 years. I'm in Chicago now because I found a better job here, but I still love New York.
New York is like America’s Europe, which tells you all you need to know and why the rest of America doesn’t try to emulate NYC. It’s probably the least American city in the country.
We love you Milo and love your English content btw I’m from Brooklyn NY there are a lot of things your gonna need to watch out for stay safe Milo ♥️♥️♥️
So you are Swedish and grew up in Sweden? Would have never guessed that. I would have guessed Hispanic ethnicity. I have a stereotype of Swedes as blonde and blue eyed! You seem like you fit in NYC just fine. You're certainly outgoing! Good luck.
of course, we would absolutely love more videos! Congrats on your move to the US. Personally, I think sweden is better than the US. But NYC is better than other cities we have in the US, for the most part
I have also watched some of your past content. I am interested to see if you will react to music from the 70’s until now. Again continue success and good luck with your job.
Welcome to NYC. As a native New Yorker and a person who lived in the projects you will always find that people who have never lived there have negative opinions about it. I just want you to know that it’s there loss because some of the smartest people I know came from them. Stay positive and blessed and enjoy yourself in this melting pot which is NYC and continue the good work with your channel.
Welcome to my city Milo But I want to give you a little warning there are some coward men’s around here, punching random women in their be face for no reason so please be aware of your surroundings🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Welcome to NYC Milo I'm from the Bronx born and raised. You will find good and not good people like any where in the world it's just that here being a very large population you fine more of the good and the bad lets say, however it's not 50/50 there's a lot more good by far. Like any where Milo just use your head and common sense and in time you'll get to really know all the in's and out's the do's and don'ts. Just don't go jogging alone in the park at 2 in the morning and you'll be fine. I wish you well and much success.
I was there a few weeks back under the Pepsi Cola sign. Love NYC!!! I'm from a London "projects" and the best places I found in NY were in the spots I was told not to go, so I get your point Milo. People are people and I'll never judge them based on their area.
Enjoy New York and be safe. I’m from the Bronx born and raised here the Bronx isn’t getting no better but here in nyc you will meet all types of different people and then you will meet the more aggressive people who don’t want to talk to you. I like your content and what you post have a blessed day.
Oooh homegirl... You picked a hell of a time to move to our country 😂 You strike me as a thoughtful person, Im sure you will be fine dealing with it all. Understand you've traveled and have perspective most Americans never will have or get to experience. I've seen enough of your vids to realize you know how to be happy on your own, make sure you hold on to that
No offence, but this is probably one of the worst time to ever to move to New York. Considering there's been random attacks on women. The city is just a shit hole!
I don't think that you will last there for too long NYC is very different from those European cities you are used to, needless to say, there are plenty of crazy and homeless people.
I really hope she doesn’t get robbed or punched by a mentally disturbed black dude on the subway. I’m not even trying to be funny. The culture shock is going to be wild. I understand why foreigners flock to NYC because it’s the closest you get to a city in Europe within America. But still, I just hope she knows what she’s getting herself into.
Peace Milo! It's dope to see you posting again. I appreciate the genuine perspective you shared in the last part of the video. There's insight in your words for sure. Be smooth out in NY.
2:51 You mention people not caring and not being able to connect with your foreign viewers. I think the answer is in the statement you made about making content that wasn't "you". I mean if you think about it, if you do content that isn't you, it carries over into the presentation. And if you don't care, why should anyone else? Which in my opinion leads to people not caring and you not being able to truly connect with viewers. NOW, with all of that being said, I enjoy your vlogs! Seeing your day to day and or vacation/ outings lets us into your world... it's you being you! And that's what we (ultimately speaking for myself) care about! Welcome to the States, Milo! Good to see you embracing the journey and living life! Cheers!
Listening to the last portion of your video was a little sad. I hope you don’t get too jaded by America. What you described is kind of everywhere now, worse or better depending on which part of America. Personally I think it has a lot to do with our politicians. People are generally good, but people also can be manipulated and politicians do that constantly.
Come on now, you know this has been going on wayyyyy longer than politics, ever since the inception of this country it has been turmoil and a certain group is always getting dog piled on wether it's deserved sometimes and when it's not. That's just the way this society is, you can't do anything about it. It's been built on this.
@@LukaDonesnitch There have been ups and downs in this country’s history but for most of my life, until recently, it’s felt like everyone was attempting to move in a positive direction. Today it feels like people are actually deliberately trying to tear things apart.
@@ericrice1914 Different groups won’t have the same experience. What you consider moving in a positive direction could have felt like nothing to someone else. But I digress.

This is cool seeing your renewed energy and passion for creating. I'm impressed youve already visited Rooselvelt Island, the tram has such a charm to it. Yup there are many kinds of people here in NYC, its a big melting pot of ignorant folks and stereotypes but also some really cool people in unlikely places. Everything you say is making sense. I really like those parks on the East River especially near 42nd, hope you get to visit more. So far my only advice stay positive, keep alert and just follow your dream. NY is a place that accepts so many of different kinds, it wont take long to fit in and if you know where you can find trains, buses, you cant ever get lost. Lastly kudos for walking 60 Manhattan blocks, i like to walk too but i might only walk like 30 blocks after work but yes walking is reliable way for exercise if trains are delayed or unsafe.
