@@talhod1 Both you guys are awesome to see the similarities between 07’ and 12’ songs Experimental indeed. And yes “The Fire in Your Eyes” is beautiful(and Boaz is too🥰)
I liked this song so much, made me feel myself very happy. Pity that we were not in the same semi-final. If we were, i would vote for it. Loves from Turkey
Brilliant! One of the best entries ever. A mix of pop, rock, indie and britpop. Just my kind of music! Too bad quality songs like this get lost in the semis sometimes. But that's just the nature of ESC. Great to have this song as a part of the ESC-history - just as important as songs qualifying
I like this, catchy, fun, "crazy" frontman and full of life. Too good for that competition. They should do a world tour! Let's put it on repeat for a while...
@@obi-wankenobicomment Yeah like I agree it is underrated and it definitely has some unique elements that I think should have maybe pushed it up more in the rankings, but the performance wasn't there and there wasn't enough energy in the song.
This is my favourite song. In fact, my second favourite in 2012 after Euphoria. It has it's own retro 'rock and roll' character, it's psychedelic and best of all it so dang entertaining! Stuff all those screaming divas and catchy songs blah blah... This is the bomb! I love Izabo and thank you Israel for sending them. Even if they've cope the hatred reaction from the so called "Eurovision fans".
Talk about ahead of its time. This is actually Israel's best Eurovision finish since Harel Ska'at, so there's something to be said for Izabo and their special brand of quirk. Had it been entered for Copenhagen this year, I reckon it could've qualified.
@@tFighterPilot bro, i wrote that comment in like 2014 or 15; israel didn't qualify in 2013 and 2014, and both songs finished lower than izabo in their semis, so i kinda was saying something ☠
I absolute love this song for many reasons. Yes it’s catchy but the lead singer is so camp he is cool I love him and the lady playing the keyboards who looks drunk is just amazing . I still play this today to cheer me up
Amazing, I'm from Israel and I love this song! No matter what people think, that this competition for the music and not about politics, the world simply does not like us and that's why, love you Izabo :)
Bu parçayı nasıl elediler? Kim bunu yapanlar?
This was just TOO GOOD. I have no idea why it didnt pass to the finals. Funny cause five years ago this song creeped me out for some reason lol looking back it was just amazing! Too bad Israel almost always gets underrared in ESC.
lol If you are Turkish, than for some reason you can't stop listening to this song year after year. Besides the enchanting tune of the song (with the hypnotically attractive Hebrew (?) lyrics), the whole crew singing the song seem to be so comfortable/casual as they keep on singing.. As I said; hypnotic... Replay.
groups like this are the reason i still watch eurovision. despite the crappy votings and many crappy songs you can get to know many cool artists you wouldnt have ever objected without the help of esc. esc is still a good chance for artists to present themselves and have success, even if they dont win. take paradise oscar from 2011 for example: he finished only at 21st position, but his records sold three times more than the winning song.
This song is so wonderfully joyous and kooky. "You're the man in my playground" is an incredibly bad line, lol, but this song is so catchy and lovable. It was the one semi-casualty that I missed in the final.
The opinions on this song seem to differ quite a bit. Personally, I think it's the best one this year, but I can see why some people would dislike it. The majority of the songs sounded the same this year and I personally think this one was a breath of fresh air.
OMG! I just realized the song is all about sex. They made it in a humorous way though I appreciate it. I didn't get it back in time maybe because I was much younger.
I always loved this, maybe the studio version moreso. So renegade and catchy. But I really don't know what they were thinking with the line, "You're the man in my playground".
Our family simply loves your song and all of you. Each one of you is unique, comparing to many other bands, where usually only the singer is in front. You were something really special and we couldnt believe, that you didnt get into the finals. This is my favourite song of all the Eurovision songs in 2012. Keep up the good work. :)
Me gusta. Es retro, divertida y laxa. La puesta en escena genial con ese puntazo decadente. Este tipo de grupos son los que hacen de Eurovision algo grande y divertido, no un concurso de canto.
this song was my second favourite :) so sorry it didn't make it through to the final though me and my friends in Greece voted for it... still makes me happy every time I listen to it :)
3:07 I also love how they played the postcard with "The city of jazz" before Valentina who is a jazz singer. It shows that they did study the artists' backgrounds and cared.
there are so many hidden gems in Eurovision, I love this song
One of the most underrated songs in the Eurovision so far!
Mung Mung Deli Deli Mung Mung Deli Deliiii Tiiiiiime

Never expected Israel to drop an experimental indie rock song, but then again, it was early 2010s Israel. Always loved this one.
watch the 2008 israel one haha
@@talhod1 The Fire In Your Eyes is a rather pretty ballad, yeah, but I think you were thinking about their 2007 entry here, which is Push The Button.
@@therealbricker Yes my bad! Push the button. I love that song as weird as it is

In my darkest moments, this always makes me smiiiiile! love love love from London UK

Pretty sure.
Absolutely!

THE BEST EVER! Still love it.
perfect entertainmently song.. I like it. love from Azerbaijan. Shalom
I like this, catchy, fun, "crazy" frontman and full of life. Too good for that competition. They should do a world tour! Let's put it on repeat for a while...
I agree "Time" is too good song for ESC, but if it hadn't competed there, the rest of Europe would have never heard it and that would be a shame.
Maugrim76 they did a world tour.
It's surreal, unique, and sublime . . . and it should have won Eurovision that year.
Nah wtf that's a deluded opinion

It literally came 2 years after Harel Ska'at's Milim, so all you're saying was that it was better than Dana International's Ding Dong.

always going back to revisit this masterpiece. brilliant stuff
I think it's a great act from Israel and a great song, one of our most undeservedly-forgotten. It should have made it at least to the final. I love it

This was just TOO GOOD. I have no idea why it didnt pass to the finals. Funny cause five years ago this song creeped me out for some reason lol looking back it was just amazing! Too bad Israel almost always gets underrared in ESC.
Israel gets usually underrated when they have good songs and overrated when having bad songs. "Diva" and "Toy" are amongst worst winners ever.
This song is too good for Eurovision! Listeting to this in 2021! 🇦🇿❤️🇮🇱
2018 December. Still love that amazing performance

I love this soooong. Greetings from a Venezuelan!!
Eine der beste Eurivisionsong in der eurovisiongeschichte. Ich höre sehr gerne dieses Lied. Es ist irgendwie ganz anders.. ❤️❤️❤️
This is real music.. it didn't take the final ticket because europe loves EURO POP songs :(
Çok güzel şarkı cidden. Farklı bir duygu veriyor.
There are loads of "time" songs in the 2015 competition, but none of them are as good as this "Time".
Insert 'The truth has been spoken' goat meme here!
Robyn Gallagher None are as good as "This Time"?😂
Gives a feeling of 80's. Good song, can't believe this song isn't in the final. Greeting from Latvia.
I think they could have done well if they participated now. This was ahead of its time.

I remember liking this so much back in 2012. Now I'm listening to it in 2022!
The song, the singers and the perfomance was fantastic. I don't know why the judges eliminated this.
Actually the juries placed it 9th

Part of it sounds like "Nina Pretty Ballerina" by ABBA.
It's one of ESC's biggest travesties that this didn't even appear in the final, let alone not win.
I just cant get my head around why this did not get through - it is absolutely fantastic and has Eurovision written all over it,,
