  • We believed that there were 2 617 farm attacks from 1990 to 2010, but we were wrong. The truth is much worse.
Nature tends to be quieter on a Sunday. It's a sacred silence. Almost as if the birds, the animals and the winds know that a Sunday is a day of rest. And that is how it was that day on the farm when he was buried. As the coffin was being lowered into the earth, someone said: "The land is mourning."
All over South Africa, the land is mourning. Families are mourning; communities are in mourning; farm workers are mourning; the land is mourning. Put yourself in the shoes of a woman whose husband was killed in the most brutal of ways. A child whose father was tortured to death. A husband, whose wife was raped, burnt with an iron and then murdered.
If all the tears that have flowed could be preserved, it would have filled an ocean. Yet, too few share in the mourning. Too many are left cold by the tears. When talking to family members of victims, all you want to say is: "How can I help? When looking at displaced farm workers, you lift your head heavenward, asking: "Lord, how did this happen?" Put yourself in the shoes of those who have to live in fear and anxiety from one day to the next, the very people whose sole purpose it is to provide our food: my food, your food, and that of our country.
This is what the book, Land of Sorrow, is all about. We want to share in the sorrow. We want to remember those so brutally murdered, and to those left behind, we want to say: "We care." To the farming community we want to say: "You are in South Africa's thoughts."
With this book, we want to urge everyone in South Africa to join us in mourning. This book puts a mirror up in front of us. It confronts us with a picture that is crying out: "How could a country allow so many tears?" No government should get away with allowing so many murders on a section of its community. Solutions must be found in national dialogue so that it won't be possible for government to ignore farm murders any longer. Those who have lost their lives may not be forgotten.
Through the book, and the bigger cause of stopping the brutal murders, their death gains more significance. The book sends a message to the victims that their loved ones are remembered. There are people who care. They are not alone. May Land of Sorrow help South Africa to unite in mourning so that there will be less mourning in the future.
You have a chance until 20 May to tell your story of how farm attacks affected you, your family or community. Join us in building a book monument to farm attacks in South Africa. Make sure that your experience is documented in the next edition of Land of Sorrow. Do this in memory of your loved ones and tell your story.

Out of this tragedy and ocean of tears will rise a new 'hartland' for the Afrikaners, where they are free and rule themselves and can live safely.

I agree with you henehl123 - The World needs to know this and this video and book is an excellent way. The world also need to know that more than 26,000 Boer & Black Women and Children were wiped out by the ruthless British army in the war of 1899 - 1902.

Imagine a system where you set up your own police & when there r farm murders, you hve rapid response in Helicopters or smal private plain and hire guys like Piet Byveld to track down these murderers, or a situation where you have miltias set up a professional rapid response team like the old SA Police task force, ALL THIS IS POSSIBLE, you can start your own factories or food retail chains supplying food directly from your farms, your local elected Boer officials r their to protect your property

we can even have our own courts, the Muslims have shaira courts in England so what the hell we can have Boere courts in South Africa lol. Also we all arm ourselves to protect our rights. We can provide education to the poor, but OUR EDUCATION MATERIAL, the poor around us must not be forced intot hese schools, but this will provide superior education to state and this will help our neighourly relations, what I call positive counter insurgency.

For education & ideas, read up on the founders of America (brilliant goverance infrastructure ideas) its always good to learn from history otherwise u get a De Klerk betrayal situation. On economics read up on Ludwig von Mises, Murray Rothbard, Friedrich A. Hayek, Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Ron Paul books on why central banking is BAD & gold and silver is good. We don't need to recreate Apartheid violating other poeples rights, but we can opt into a Boer system free to joined by like minded poeple

  • @freedomordeath123

You don't need land under your feet to be a self governed poeple, gather like minded poeple and elect local boer government, take your kids out of school and set up your own private schools (these don't need to be fancy) have your own private police, and miltias. Start using gold and silver as currency, opt into a Boer system, but apply Libertarian priciples in your interaction to those around you & even trade, ie resept the rights of your neigbours and never be agressors only defenders.

poeple that opt into this boer self governance can call themselves Burghers (srry spelling) so left wing Afrikaaners don't have to be persuaded to join, they can join the ANC if they want infact their way of thinking would be poison. So a like minded poeple will create a system that would protect their property rights and personal liberty, kinda like the Armish but not so isolationist (Christians should not be isolationists), but we will trade and even help local communnties around us.
