Have you ever wondered what the function of Cupping Therapy is?
Cupping is an ancient medical procedure. It relies upon creating a localized suction vacuum with fire or a device to mobilize blood flow. This blood flow thereby aids in the drainage of the lymphatic system. By stimulating the lymphatic system you’re giving the fluid that builds up between the muscle and skin more mobility to move outside the body. Not only does it move the blood through the veins, arteries, and capillaries, but also clears it. Some of these include sore muscles, tension, and clearing colon blockages. As well as, reducing stretch marks, improving the appearance of varicose veins, pain, discomfort, and aiding in blood circulation. Read on for more benefits.
Cupping has proven to affect the body up to four inches into the tissues.
This depth causes tissues to release toxins and promote healing.
A cup will be placed on the skin either by means of heat or suction, which creates a vacuum.
This draws up the underlying tissues.
When a cup is stationary on the skin for a few minutes, blood stasis forms and localized healing takes place.
It’s important to be aware that cupping can leave behind some marks. With moving cupping, it is common to have red or purple marks left on the surface as blood is brought to the area. Whereas with stationary cupping round marks that may resemble bruises might appear depending on the severity of the stagnation in the body. These are pain free and can last from 3 to 7 days.

I have developed severe stiffness and heaviness in my low back after a single level fusion L4-5. Every movement is painful. Drs can’t find anything wrong other than back muscles ( xray, CT and MRI done). Can this therapy be applied for me?

Is it safe to use a cupper and a massage gun?
I'm wondering if it's OK to use a massage gun on the bruised parts of the skin from the cupping.

It is typically a preparatory method to increase soft tissue mobilization at the beginning of a therapy session. Think of it as a tool to get the tissue moving so that you can have a more effective therapy session.

    What are contraindications for cupping?

    • @katwagner24
      @katwagner24 Год назад

Typically blood clotting disorders/folks using blood thinning medications and cancers. Think: any condition where you don’t want to cause significant bruising or conditions where you don’t want to mobilize malignant cells.
Additionally, cupping should not be used if a pt has a recent history of deep vein thrombosis (traveling blood clot), open wounds/topical inflammation/rash, varicose veins, or bone fracture.

Check hijama/ cupping. Prophet Mohammad pbuh ordered his followers to get this done on every able-bodied Muslim. It's a very common practice all over the Muslim world. Works like magic. Subhanallah ❤️

Brother. Quraan calls this Haram. Don't focus on that. Focus on the main cause of the video. Focusing on girls body like this is called Haram in Quraan and there by makes you a Harami. Don't do that brother!

Not only are you "haram", maruf (bobs and vagene, etc) but ON TOP OF THAT; the woman in the video is so incredibly mid and not beautiful that you're much better off saving your blasphemy/pissing off muhammad for a chick way, way hotter.

I am a PTA we arent allowed to use the word massage or many other words that are used by different fields. It is a common medical practice that massage therapists, physical therapists and chiropractors all have their different vocabulary.
