Franzoli Electronics Thank you so much for your subscription! To fix your issue, make sure your output video file name doesn’t have any special characters (& * ^ % () # @ $ ! {} [ ] ? > < etc). If your file name doesn’t have special characters, then you need to make some adjustments in Hybrid’s program folder. First, close Hybrid and go to the root of your hard drive. Go to: “C:\Program Files\Hybrid\32bit.” Find “AviSynth.dll” file and delete it. Right below that file should be “avisynth_mt.dll”. Rename it to “AviSynth.dll” and restart Hybrid. Lastly, follow everything in the video again and you should be all set. Hope all of this helps
@@DaGoose I have the same problem. I've tried both NV and x264 with same results. I did what you said here about the .dll file and now it says just "\Temp was not created!". Thanks it worked it took an hour or more to download a 23 minute long video.Btw if the video is longer does it take more time to load and render or does it also depend on the internet speed?
This application does not use the internet at all. It is all locally encoded on your computer only. The speed of the encoding depends on how well your computer hardware is. Moderate to high end hardware will take about 4-6 minutes per minute of a 1080p video to encode. The resolution and bitrate also factor into the time needed to encode.
Hello. Please help me i have a problem with Hybrid i work on video convert 30fps to 60fps and i will save the video and it show me: ( Ignoring input,.. since current container is nullptr,..) . I dont know what i do with this error.
Thank you for making this video. I really needed this for slow motion clips in 24fps timeline (Premiere Pro). My original file has variable frame rate 29.86fps. When i convert the file to 60fps (CFR output is on). I click right mouse button on the file, Properties> details. frame rate shows 59.73fps. Frame rate is not accurate. How do i get it exact 60fps. Edit: By 3:23 I target frame rate manually to 60fps. The file convert exact 60fps. What is the difference with this method and the 'overwrite'.
MelB you can’t convert 29.86 FPS to exactly 60fps. Doing so will result in frame skipping in the output video because 29.86 doesn’t go into 60 evenly. So that’s why you get 59.73 as your output FPS. As mentioned in the video, overwrite is used because it allows you to be more specific with the frame interpolation settings. Using the drop downs isn’t specific and is subject to more artefacts in the final output video.
First thank you for making this video i understand a bit more of svpflow now but ive wanted to get a script that really focus on animation its like it has a optical flow time interpolation effect on it it makes the video move really smooth ive found a script on the svp site on the svpflow plug ins section it tested the script and it was really smooth almost like the optical flow time interpolation effect but i was getting artifacts i changed the video to NVEnc (ffmpeg) then tested it again then almost all of the artifacts were gone but the problem was that the video kept blinking ive tried to play around with the settings but couldnt get the blinking to stop do you know to get it of the blinking problem or do you know any scripts that focus more on the animation. thnk you again keep up the good work
mel a The scripts in the video description are made specifically for any video regardless of whether it is an animation or a film. If you want a script the focuses more on animation content, please change the following in the scripts in the description: In Smooth script parameter, set “algo” value to 21 In Smooth script parameter, set “mode” value to 1. Please understand though that these changing in the scripts will result in an output video with less artefacts, but also less smoothness. Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to have a super smooth video without any artefacts, visa-versa.
Hey, thank you very much for the video! very helpful and useful. I have a question. I just converted a 30fps video to 60fps video, but for some reason, the new 60fps video has a red line all around the corners of the video (which the old 30pfs does not has). is this normal? or did I make something wrong?
I'm planning on making a new tutorial but not with Hybrid. You can still follow the steps as shown in the video. A lot of other things have changed, but not what you will need in this video. CFR output checkbox is the only option that changed; you can find it in Config>input.
which one is better? the hybrid app or Dain app? I'm using the Dain app for a while, it can interpolate a 1:30 minute video with 720p quality and 24fps to 60fps in 11 hours on Gtx1050 4gb vram
I have a 2018 version of this and it doesnt have AVI Synth available in the drop down menu (Mac) Is there a video I can follow to still convert from 30 to 60 using Hybrid ? I see Vapor Synth IS available. The program looks exactly the same otherwise, I'm just stuck to know what the next step is now. Please advise

hello do you have any idea on log file errors ? I cannot import video in hybrid. It says no log files present
The issue is new with hybrid and only seems to happen on the latest version of Hybrid, so I’m not sure how to fix it. But as an alternative, please uninstall the current version of hybrid on your computer and try using this slightly older version of hybrid and see if it works: www.videohelp.com/download/Hybrid_2020.01.11.1_SETUP.exe
@@DaGoose Thanks for the help!
help it show these errors:
Current avc level needs to be at least: 5.0
generatex264Call generated an empty call list.
VideoCall generation failed!
oh i fix it i selected NVEmc profile and it works
Nice first video, i hope you grow here. thanks
pd: yep, my english is bad i know
it says " One or multiple files were not created properly!" help
Thanks it worked it took an hour or more to download a 23 minute long video.Btw if the video is longer does it take more time to load and render or does it also depend on the internet speed?
This application does not use the internet at all. It is all locally encoded on your computer only. The speed of the encoding depends on how well your computer hardware is. Moderate to high end hardware will take about 4-6 minutes per minute of a 1080p video to encode. The resolution and bitrate also factor into the time needed to encode.
You're a god! This is gonna help so much for animators. You're a legend ! Thank you sooooo much ❤❤✌✌
Perfect solution thanks for the tutorial.
Hello. Please help me i have a problem with Hybrid i work on video convert
30fps to 60fps and i will save the video and it show me: ( Ignoring input,.. since current container is nullptr,..) . I dont know what i do with this error.
Petr Fišer what is the file type of your video (MP4, MKV, etc)?
So your using CPU or GPU to upscale that intro video?
Mikail Ulum I used CPU 100%
When I am doing the x264 tab settings, do I set the bitrate according to the original video or is it for the output video.
Great tutorial, thanks
The output video. Please refer to the video description for a list of recommended bitrates
Thanks man you helped me a lot!
If you want a script the focuses more on animation content, please change the following in the scripts in the description:
In Smooth script parameter, set “algo” value to 21
In Smooth script parameter, set “mode” value to 1.
Please understand though that these changing in the scripts will result in an output video with less artefacts, but also less smoothness. Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to have a super smooth video without any artefacts, visa-versa.
Hey, thank you very much for the video! very helpful and useful. I have a question. I just converted a 30fps video to 60fps video, but for some reason, the new 60fps video has a red line all around the corners of the video (which the old 30pfs does not has). is this normal? or did I make something wrong?
anderson montero Thanks! Please read the pinned comment on how to fix the red boarders.
I'm missing the Audio tab, I don't think its needed really by me but I would like to know to get it showing up on my pc.
In 1:51, did you confirm that you selected "custom" in the drop-down?
@@DaGoose oh that is why. got it working now! but i cant find the output file.
Huz Gaming How did you export the file? Did you select a custom output file destination or generated a output file automatically?
@@DaGoose custom.
Huz Gaming try looking in hybrid’s program folder in C:\Program Files\Hybrid
The setup of new hybrid version has changed .. how to convert fps video whit new version? you can make new tutorial please? :)
I would say Hybrid is better simply because you have more options for frame interpolation.
I downloaded the latest version of hybrid and still continue to appear the red boarders...
The Racing Tiger Read the pinned comment. There is a download link for a slightly older version
@@DaGoose Ok thanks!! 1+sub
Avisynth isn’t supported on MacOS. You’ll have to use Vapoursynth instead. Download the latest version of Hybrid for Mac and follow the same steps in the video but while using Vapoursynth instead.
@@DaGoose Thanks. Can I still use the scripts you show for Vap Synth ?
Yes, use the exact same scripts (Vectors = Analyze)
@@DaGoose I'm only able to download the 2018 version of Hybrid but I'll give it a go. Thanks
@@DaGoose Please could you make a video on how to do this with Vapor Synth? The menus are different and I'm guessing here w no AVI synth menu drop down available on my 2018 Mac version. Or perhaps you could direct me to another video. Much appreciated!
THANK U SO SO SO MUCH U SAVED MY LIFE, the only tutorial that really helped me!!
Hey man im getting an error of it saying that i need to change avc file to 5.0, and this error saying
"generatex264Call generated an empty call list"
Salu3 GamersTv go to 2:29 and set the AVC level to 5.0
@@DaGoose Oh thanks alot man! Really appreciate it, I have a 1080p30 Video but for some reason its allowing me to go to 4k quality, but thanks anyways man you're the best
If I download hybrid will it give me a virus?
Thnx man .Really Appreciate it .
Works great! Except for one thing...It doesn't convert the first 3 seconds of any video to 60fps
