The audience's knowing laugh when he asks what could be found on his coffee table haha! I bet lines and lines of it.
dude, you are a genius xD
Between Spitz and others it has been reported that for a time Bowie liked to work at the coffee table surrounded by inspiration: lots of books and a snowdrift that would make Tony Montana jealous.
What??
@@galesx95 Someone of your intelligence would think so.
He should have played the Joker.
I was just thinking the comics must have used his likeness for a number of the Batman comics I read as a kid.
@@wetlazer I'm pretty sure the Joker is based on Conrad Veidt in the movie The Man Who Laughs.
@@booradleyfromthemovietokil1582 That is so, and it is also true that if you look to Batman covers from the 70's several versions of the Joker look a lot like Bowie looked in this interview.

Today's late night shows disgust me; Not funny hosts, fake celebrities, speaking about tasteless nonsense
I’d like to see them pick the brains of celebrities more
Nah they're just trying to be funny and charismatic. CONAN is great still
DC's talked about how rote stops on promo tours don't make for good, classic interviews. Jack Paar advised him to converse w/guests, not do basic Q&A. My intro to DC was this ep, and after growing up w/90s late-night, the contrast in atmosphere is striking. Still a funny, accessible pop culture talk show, but less desk & distraction, more brain & style. DC also discussed DB's interview some years back - sounds like it took a thoughtful host to navigate this particular Bowie.
Good to know Conan's still at it. Haven't seen much since the NBC era, but his weird wacky humor was easily the best of late-night then. He clearly appreciated how damn funny Bowie was - still love Bowie Secrets & that tribute highlight reel.
Conans decent but jimmy jimmy and Stephen etc all shills
I agree.
this litterally the only evidence i could find of black noise existing
Tell me more
@@roadsectoradventuresto begin learning about one subject, it’s possible to study the opposite.. you can start with Royal Rife, and Dr Masaru Emote who both used sound frequencies to heal the population. Cymatics.
Isn’t that similar to the attacks made on particular individuals visiting or working in places like embassies in other countries? I also heard might be using it in DC lately …
yeah thats super not true, basically they were saying they had "Havana Syndrome", which had no common symptoms being described.
Correct.
Bowie is quietly terrifying here. The only thing that mitigates how unsettling he is, is that he sounds exactly like Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap
I’d say he’s more like unsettled than unsettling …😘
This one….this one goes to eleven! 😂
"Black noise is a type of noise where the dominant energy level is zero throughout all frequencies, with occasional sudden rises; it is also defined as silence. Contrary to general consideration, sound and silence are not each other's opposite, but they are mutually inclusive."
People started using colour codes for noise......
also known as resonant frequency
Thanks Google
@@yolandasmalls9438
Now thank Wikipedia?
"The practice of naming kinds of noise after colors started with white noise, a signal whose spectrum has equal power within any equal interval of frequencies. That name was given by analogy with white light, which was (incorrectly) assumed to have such a flat power spectrum over the visible range.
Other color names, such as pink, red, and blue were then given to noise with other spectral profiles, often (but not always) in reference to the color of light with similar spectra. Some of those names have standard definitions in certain disciplines, while others are very informal and poorly defined."

That’s kind of a loaded question Dick Cavett “ What would we find on your coffee table ? “
imagine if this noise has been used in all trending music and we don't know it but the destruction it creates is mentally and the reason people are going insane would ......that would tell us a lot about how they managed micro manipulation over a long period and would explain.why music of today drives people to have sided opinions.... They use in music and movies instead..
But Mr. Bowie, can you tell us about BROWN NOISE
Drink about 30 pints off guiness n wait about 5 hours you will find out about it....

Look at that hair! Wow! Lol I love it! I was 4 in 1974! What an era as well as the 80s and into the 90s it was a joy to be alive then. . This is the what the vast majority of “entertainers- musicians/actors” were like in at this time, yes there were “dick stains” Out there, but most were humble, creatives that had a message to share with people. Not like today where “famous” people just make me want to poke a carrot in my eye, how things have changed in such a short period of time.

Since Bowie was born Dec 1947, he would have been 27 at this time. I have to say, I was never a Bowie fan probably because no one song ever struck me. Here he does seem to be a wired intellectual. I do admire Cavett being relaxed around him. He’s on too high a wavelength for me though.

a I already answered you
Not once could Cavett laugh at him, quite the opposite; also quite a brain Bowie had. Also, what he describes at "Black Noise" is not today's connotation of such, but the lack of sound resulting from equal frequencies only contrary in phase..... What Bowie described here is pretty much as it is happening today according some theories to the new 5G network.... humans are mostly water and energy, both which reacts strongly to any wavelength, so at least, its true... only, how much does 5G really will affect us, unknown tot the public.
it's not that deep lmao
@@ToadPlushie it actually is.
Black noise is clearly about air pressure waves, not electromagnetic waves ... It has got nothing to do with 5G. The danger of 5G is in fact not new. Electromagnetic waves can be quite unhealthy in context. The main danger are not the cellphone/5G towers unless you are really close to them. The actual culprit is in fact your cellphone having any sort of connection that emits a lot of energy so don't sleep with it under your pillow. Likewise, living under a high voltage powerline can cause leukemia even though that's a completely different part of the spectrum. The most important thing is it carries the amount of energy that carries the electromagnetic wave.
