We’re taught in school that nothing can make a primary color, but those rules never applied to painting much because the rules we’re can be bent depending upon how you’re trying to make colors and which colors you’re actually starting from. Seeing this here I know it works, but I didn’t understand the why to be able to ever be able apply it in other areas of painting/Art. This relies more on the use of green as a complimentary colour of red to trick your eyes into thinking it is redder than it actually is. Isolated, that is more of a orangey brown than true red.
There is an Android app colour-sorting game called I Love Hue. The tougher levels involve gradations between colours across the colour wheel. It's amazing how colours "change" depending on what their neighbours are.

Can I comment here, 'My father" comment is correct, check the color wheel, Primary are Red, Blue and Yellow. Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are for "printing" its called CMYK - K is black, Magenta is in the Violet family, check the color wheel, its between Alizarin (10RP) and Manganese Violet (10P), Magenta is 5RP ( Red Purple), Alizarin is 10RP, Manganese is 10P, now Cad Red or Red like Indian Red are 5R. So it makes Cad Red, Naphthol, Indian Red 5R. Check Gamblin and Williamsburg color chart, they put the HUE value, Oxide Red is 10R, so if you mix Alizarin (10RP) with Oxide Red (10R) you will have 5R, same as Magenta (5RP) plus Cad Orange or Transparent Orange (5YR) will make 5YR, and 2. parts Violet + 3 parts Orange can make a good Red between 5R or 7.5R (Red Light) and equal parts of Violet and Orange can make 10RP or Alizarin. Manganese Violet (10P) + Earth Yellow or Yellow Deep can make 5R also. Hope this helps! Make note some manufacturing has slightly different hue values. Thanks

Hermoso!!! Felicidades Maestro!
The red element in purple as well as in orange make the pigment become dominant over blue and yellow from those colour... I think similarly like how you make blue from green and purple. It is a very clever thought...u are a cool guy.
@4zur 5ael
Gracias 😊🤗
Phenomenal Colour Artistry!!
Thank You Cesar Cordova.
So cool! Thank you for sharing this with us 💕🍉
Ud es un maestro. Mis respetos.
Super interesante su labor 👌
Muchas gracias!
Why is this so perfect...? 😍😍
Smooth strokes🥺🥺😍
That was very beautiful ☺️ i really enjoyed watching ur painting.. beautiful 👌
😊 Saludos a Argentina.
@@arielceleda4897 Sí, todo el mundo tiene una técnica diferente. Un gran saludo.🙌
Solid color theory in action.
Wow thank you this is a good idea for when my art supplies are down but I seem to always run out of white and black but I have never seen anyone else make a primary color before

This is Awesome. Looks so real. Great painting. Thanks for sharing

Increible gracias por compartir tanto talento, estoy viendolo y me cuesta creerlo
“In case you don’t have red paint, use these other two harder to find colors of paint to make it”
It's not that hard to find bruh. Do u make ur own paints or something?
