LOL. I totally came on here to ask if anyone thinks this sounds like Nirvana's cover of Molly's Lips. You guys beat me to it... I'm saying it's intentional or bad; just an observation....
what!!!!... same chords but it doesnt sound like she´s a rebel.... I didn´t know bands owned the chords they use for their songs.... in that case jawbreaker stole a thousand songwriters that use this progression before.... including nirvana, check out molly´s lips, that one sounds way more similar to boxcar than she´s a rebel.
I prefer this version the vocals are easer to sing along to.
it was recorded during the sessions for dear you if im not mistaken and it is on the dear you reissue as it states in the description for the video
i like this one better for some reason...
Jared Johnson production is better
Emo that I can feel good about feeling good about...

or Family Life by Fifteen?
Yea it does. I thought the same thing but this song has more chords in it than Molly’s lips. Really its just the into and parts of the verse haha
I agree I prefer the og version this one is too polished!
@vanuaturocks "It's a joke, don't flame me".
@vanuaturocks Green Day didn't steal, its two powerchords...its not a in-depth riff lol
Vinny Feraca haha
I always prefered the live version!
Still prefer Revenge's version.
hardly the point but well then, not nirvana.... the vaselines!

They totally ripped this off "She's a Rebel" by Green Day.
