hahaha toms voice sounds so tired here...it's like his voice is saying "ok dude I've been doing this for almost 30 years, how much longer are you gonna put me through this shit"
Is it the crowd or is it Slayer? I love thrash metal and LOVE Slayer...They still kill it big time...no doubt. Fantastic. Top Notch. But they don't have the same angst that they once had. Same with every older thrash band. They just can't grab your emotion like they once did. They have played the song so much that they have perfected it to a science...Every band hits that point...Regardless, Slayer fucking rules.
@Gargiuloth2 the reason that they sound shit is the recording, bad mics places in wrong places and stuff. but im not saying that tama and ddrum is bad, im just blaming at the recording, i bet it sound better live ;)
@Gargiuloth2 his drums sound pretty awesome through the P.A. when you actually see them live, but when i saw slayer, i had the chance to hear them without the mics, and they sounded pretty bad. why did he switch to ddrum?
@xhkpw guitar. I just like playing slayer because I mostly play by ear, and you can actualy hear what they are playing. and they play pretty fast too. LOL!!! I can play music from other bands like pantera, seplutura, overkill early metalica ect. but I like playing slayer the most. The funny part is those douche bags broke up and dont even play anymore.
@butchvito I believe Dave had Tama on that record still. He sounds great on it, great drumming. But I don't know why the fuck he changed, ddrums sound like garbage
Could anyone else , just listen to the drums over and over?
Absolutely.
It's so sad that we'll never see this lineup again.
Or will you?
not even venom could produce a more evil album then the best thrash album of all time
Legendary and Powerful!
Awesomeness!!!! ❤
Dave`s tribal drum intro is sick!
Essa introdução é matadora! 🤘🏽

The cymbals aren't too short sounding, it's just that they sit very tight. Which chokes the cymbal and makes the sustain shorter.
They're getting better with age. Check out Slayer's gig at Mayhem 2012. They are literally getting better than ever.
Hanneman's solo is fuckin awesome.
Awesome!!

I keep waiting for the song to turn into Summer Breeze.
Awesome/ Classic metal song !!/ :D

THE BEST FUCKIN' BAND
1:40 Tom's smile saying - crowd is mine :)
FUCKING SLAYER ! ! !
Lombardo is a beast.
after all these of listening to slayer i still have no idea what tom is saying in this song
@Gargiuloth2 It has nothing to do w/ the drums. It's the way the drums are mic'd/triggered.
Their age is starting to finally catch up with them!! Poor slayer
@Gargiuloth2 They sound good live.
Why would the way they're triggered/mic'd change so drastically from Tama to Ddrums?
@Gargiuloth2 the reason that they sound shit is the recording, bad mics places in wrong places and stuff.
but im not saying that tama and ddrum is bad, im just blaming at the recording, i bet it sound better live ;)
Is this the last concert of Jeff ? I hope you come back Jeff !!!
Original slayer just has more menace
@Gargiuloth2 his drums sound pretty awesome through the P.A. when you actually see them live, but when i saw slayer, i had the chance to hear them without the mics, and they sounded pretty bad. why did he switch to ddrum?
@munkych33z Who knows. But I really wish he'd go back to Tama because he sounded better with Tama. He just did.
dave dont use triggers it was the mics
El que discuta que esta no es una de las mejores intro, es sordo!.
song*
@euskofriki Oh yeah without a doubt. Lombardo's drums sound really watery, for lack of a better word.
@Gargiuloth2 glad he's switched to Ludwig
What song was after this?
btw, sick fucking drumming, man. That's thrash!
Even Chuck Norris bows to Slayer!
I think the 2005 Rock Am Ring version sounds WAY better than this, specially the drums. Anyway, awesome classic, awesome video.

I know they have fucking SLAYER in front and what they do? NOTHING that piss me off
This crowd didn't know what hit'm
@butchvito I believe Dave had Tama on that record still. He sounds great on it, great drumming. But I don't know why the fuck he changed, ddrums sound like garbage
What a Jeff....
Seeing Tom not headbang is so weird...
@eduardelric1261 30 years of death metal will do that to ya lol.
Did Dave use Ddrums to record World Painted Blood? Because that album sounds like shit too....The drumming on Christ Illusion sounded waay better.
Kerry's guitar needs to be louder.
mano slayer e muito foda i love slayer mas o audio de video ta uma bosta
that ddrum set sounded like crap.. Dave should stick with the old tama set
Its not Dave's playing but the drums do sound like shit.
The Drums are shite. Nevertheless. Its Fucking Slayer.
o som do show de 85 ta muito melhor q essa merda vey
a terrible sound mix, you can barely hear the guitars...
HORIBLE crowd.....
lamest crowd EVEEEEERRR!!!!
Nope. His last gig was Sonisphere 2011
