Thanks Kevin I have a Sherman. I checked the nuts on the battery to fuse box wires. They were loose. I tightened everything after watching your video. Hot glue works great. I think you really saved me from getting a cut out and crashing, because of loose nuts on the connection. Thank you very much for all the work and videos you provide.
Great video as always Bro! Those washers that are rusting will be acting like a 'sacrificial anode' .... of all of the metals used in the axle/hanger/nut & washer... it will be the most easy to rust... so, it does all of the rusting. Similar to bolting zinc blocks inside steel boat hulls. Best to have some spare replacement washers and let them rust maybe?
Random question about the tail light … I was hoping to modify the light so it just stays on bright vs having a “brake light”’ or “signal”. The light is not that bright but is ok when it’s activated.
The back light was flashing bright and dim and flickering on and off. Even with the new case that comes with new socket and cable connector. But this was working on the bench with no problem. It was the transformer causing interference due to cable beening too short and next to it. By extending the cable and moving it away from the transformer the light works.

I'd love to make the same upgrades to my sherman to avoid future issues, I'd like to know more about the materials you're using. For the grease around the axel, any Lithium grase will work ? When you're putting it back together, is the back stuff hot glue you're using to secure the screws ? And the black tape you put on the motor wire where they go inside the motor, what type of tape is it ? I'm guessing it's to waterproof the bearing/motor ? Thanks a lot !
Hi Yes any Lithium Grease for car will work. Black hot glue they stick better than the white hot glue. Pipe Repair Tape Stop Water Leak Burst Plumbers Waterproof Self Amalgamating inside motor.

Neither my head light or tail light will turn on despite everything else working fine. Do you have any ideas what it could be?
