Track monster Type R yellow baby Integra! That thing would be wicked even with a baby war whistle on it! Fat meats, BCs and a Monsoon, along with some Spoon fab and you got a monster of a little grip car that anyone could learn to push themselves in. Awesome addition to the fleet, Jimbo!
That 9,500rpm stock recline isn't what I expected from the 3banger. This car be so fast with a k20z3 out the 8th gen like i have in my shed. I needed a k24 to push the heavyweight fg2 like I wanted. But the k20z3 would be insane in this.
Going to a Beatmeet with the boys might sound a little strange there Jimmy..😉 Cool chassis for sure, given the engine position this would make even more sense to motorcycle engine swap. Somehow it doesn't really feel like you're up for it; given that it goes from a side project to a engineering project but I'd love to see it. It's been done plenty of times so off the shelf solutions are available. And Honda has made some very tasty motorcycle engines to drop in. I'm a big fan of the VFR V4's they made, good torque throughout a wide and high rev range and it creates the most ungodly good noise. Somebody made a compressor kit for the 800 VTEC ones giving it a healthy 200 HP. Plenty in such a lightweight chassis. Using it's sequential.. Anyway I'll keep dreaming. For inspiration; remember that first gen Civic that first appeared on The Smoking Tyre? Go find it if you didn't, its well worth it. That has that engine in it, NA.

Jimmy, I've tuned a Suzuki cappucino on e85 with a larger factory sized turbo and made 88kw out of the 660cc Suzuki motor. other option is Hayabusa motor swap. power to weight ratio is where it's at.
Turbo hayabusa swap, track setup underneath and widebody to fit a better wheel/tyre setup. That thing with 300 rev willing hp and a good track setup will do wild things for you 🙂
I've always liked the tiny gull wing doors of the Autozam AZ1 but the Beats are awesome too... Idk what it is about us big guys liking the smallest cars. I had a Ford Festiva for a while and i had more fun in that car that pretty much every other car I've owned. Mainly because of just driving and parking it in funny places that cars were never meant to go
this era of little Honda is honestly awesome. you don't know how great they are until you have one. my favorite car I ever owned was a JDM delsol with the automatic roof (transtop). unfortunately it got taken out by a Tacoma.
A little fast spooling turbo and a nos bottle sized to match. If you do an engine swap you could do a 5 lug conversion at the same time. Spoon would be kicking it.

An N/A K series or a bike motor would be dope in that thing. I say turbo it first and see what you can do with it. I would love to see a bunch of auto X with the boys. Spoons crx, b-halls mk2, the beat, the 86, K s14 and all the others. A private lime rock day would be dope.
That's sick! I've always loved small cars like miatas and aw11s. I'd love pretty much any kei car. Also I like the hard top idea but I don't thing Jimmy or Steve will ever fit with a hard top
best cars out! love em so much, stock engine is great and sounds amazing. Do yourselves a failure and crack open the ECU to see if theres any broken capacitors - they'll leave you stranded and its a super common issue with these as the ECU's suffer from heat through the firewall from the engine. A new main relay might be a good shout if it hasnt been replaced too!
I saw one here in the lower east side parked up, I just stood and drooled for a min wondering how damn cool the owner was.. power move in my opinion guys, those are so damn rad.
The old school teal color would be sick definitely do the 16x8 silver rims with maybe a wide body or fender skirt full body kit. Full underglow!!!! And dj just got one it's gonna be a beat summer let's go

Hard top with an mr2 style hood vent and boost it! All the induction noise with a good BOV. TYPE R yellow.
Jimmy you might want to look at generator turbos or stock Subaru turbos those might fit that manifold for the beat.
Love everything about the beat. Turbo lowered on nice wheels yellow paint hardtop front lip and take it for some laps.
