I doubt it. Cats ear are sensitive and its likely just hearing all rough tongue and sniffing. I'd imagine it's have trouble hearing out one ear for a while.

If I'm not mistaken, they like to lick inside the ears because they're naturally drawn to protein rich substances like earwax. So basically this cat here's grabbing a snack and also cleaning out its friends ear. Symbiosis!

Wish the sound of the shaking of the head would have been cut out too. It's a little loud and kinda catches you by surprise, especially if you're trying to relax.

My resident cat has started to do this to our new kitten but it worries me she will damage her ears as gets carried away and trys to get in deeper and she hisses if i try to stop her
