Sweet falcom goodness. Nice arrangement!
I didn't think much of this game's OST back when it first came out, but every cover I hear in the modern era makes me appreciate it more. Maybe it's nostalgia? Probably it's a better appreciation of melodic complexity - this was one of the early SNES titles that didn't rely heavily on the console's band pass filter to make its OST really POP!
Ys 3: A soundtrack so all-around amazing I have a hard time deciding which song is my favorite
This is fantastic! Love me Ys III's OST, one of the best out there imo.
This has to be one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, even if I could never get far in the game itself. I've listened to most of its ports, including the surprisingly good Famicom version. Hell, I'm so familiar with this soundtrack that I can tell this arrangement is based on the Sega Genesis/PC-88/PC-98 FM version. It's the same deal as Star Cruiser, I'm far more familiar with the amazing soundtrack than the game itself.
Much better than the actual NES one.
Bravely.🗡️🛡️🌋
