Prosperous Agriculture Roadmap to Nutrition and Entrepreneurship, Reinforcing Sustainability

Liberia is a nation greatly endowed with rich soil and favourable climate, but highly under cultivated. Many rural dwellers with abundant land resources available to them still struggle to survive. This led to the European Union to lead an initiative to address the situation.
The project titled, Prosperous Agriculture Roadmap. To Nutrition and Entrepreneurship. Reinforcing Sustainability. It aimed to improve the productivity and sustainability of nutrition sensitive agriculture at the level of smallholder farmers.
Over 6,600 farmers and 4,400 mothers and caregivers benefitted from the project. The project was implemented in 220 communities spread across seven counties in Liberia including Rivercess, Margibi, Grand Kru, Grand Bassa, Sinoe, Bomi, and Grand Cape Mount.
