I actually stopped listening, or not really following LP for a long time. But then like 2 or 3 weeks before he died, I started listening to them again. I kept watching the South Side concert over and over and over thinking how amazing it was. And then I woke up one morning and saw the text. I couldn't believe it.

Last evening, i broke into tears while watching their performance at red square of what i've done, and i started dropping tears when Chester shouts during the bridge, after shivering. I could not help it, because i realized that Chester was delivering a piece of his soul to the crowd, a piece of himself. I'm convinced he was a beautiful soul. A hurt, wounded, unadpted to this world soul, as many of us are, but a soul full of angst and love at the same time. Thank you Chester and the band.💕💕💕.
I'm so glad that my son aged 13 loves Linkin Park as well. You won't be forgotten by your fans of all ages. You mean a lot to us all.

I STILL struggle with his passing every day. I listen to him everyday and sometimes I’ll get so caught up jamming out while making dinner or cleaning and I’ll think for a second, “I can’t wait to see them live again!”…..then immediately I’m gutted because I will never get to see him live ever, again. It breaks my heart. We lost a treasure. 100% a legend! He is so beautiful. Everything about him. I miss you every day C thank you for saving me over and over again🤍

Honestly I didn't listen to them for months... But the ones that Chester sings with his whole heart... almost 2 years... The messenger especially... one more light and heavy I can't listen to, to this day without tears..

I remember this day like it was yesterday. Before I start, I want to say that my older brother got me into Linkin Park. First band I ever really listened to back in 2001. Ever since I heard "By Myself", I was hooked. Since that day, Linkin Park became my favorite band. My brother and I are super fans, if you will. Anyways, we worked together at the time. I went outside for a smoke break and I got on Facebook. First thing I saw was my friend posting "I can't believe it's true. RIP Chester". I was shook.. so I googled Chester and nothing but headlines that he had died... my heart sank. I felt lost. I threw my cigarette down and ran back inside. I told my brother we need to lock up the store, that something happened. With tears in my eyes and my voice shaking, I told him Chester had died. He laughed and thought I was joking. I showed him the headlines. We broke down crying, calling everyone we knew and let them know. We had our store closed for about an hour. I felt like a part of me died that day. I lost my hero, my idol, my rolemodel. The man that brought me out of my darkness had passed away. My depression got so much worse. It took me until this year to accept the fact that he has passed on and I'll one day see him again. I love you Chester. You'll always be a part of my life. Thank you for helping me through the rough times... even after you passed, your music healed the wounds that had reopened. If you or someone you know needs help, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255

I absolutely love this video. I'm so glad I found it right now. I was having a really hard time today missing Chester Oct. 23, 2019. I had been watching video after video of live shows, interviews, and I went for a drive alone and drove for almost 2 hours. I screamed each song and had to pull over to cry. Linkin Park has been the only music I've listened to since the day he passed. I've never reached out to anyone about how much loosing him effected me. Don't know who to reach out to. I'm ranting, I apologize. Thanks again.

Hope you're still hanging in there! You can ALWAYS reach out to any fans of Linkin Park (including me!!) because we all feel very similar emotions/reactions to his passing. Even now, I still can't believe he's gone and it is very painful to think that someone with soooo much talent ended up feeling so abandoned and alone that he couldn't take the pain anymore. It's tragic to think about how he could have just reached out to sooo many fans (or certainly and probably preferentially mental health experts) to help him carry the burden. But we should also remember the joy and extreme sense of empowerment his voice gave us all, and how we were at least blessed enough to have him in a place where his amazing voice and words can be heard forever! Keep your head up and ALWAYS remember, to ANYONE struggling....YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Man, listening to all of his music and actually hearing all of the lyrics in his music now is just so hard... Knowing that he was battling and dealing with his own demons for so long just breaks my fucking heart. It's really hard listening to all of his music now bcus of just how fucking deep those lyrics are... He needed help and it is all so obvious listening to his music now that he channeled all of that emotional pain and sadness in his music. God, I fucking miss Chester so damn much... Chester and Linkin Park have srsly helped me get thru some very dark and scary times in my life. Linkin Park was such a huge part of my childhood and helped me become the person that I am today. Chester Bennington was such a huge and major inspiration in my life, & it broke my fucking heart when I heard he died. It still fucking does. I literally bawled and sobbed my fucking eyes out when I heard he took his own life. My dad committed suicide back in 2012, so hearing Chester killed himself just took me right back to the day my dad killed himself and all that pain and all those fucking emotions just came rushing back to me again. I may only just be a huge and obsessed fan, but Chester Bennington was such an important person in my life and his music has helped me get out of the darkest times in my life especially when I was growing up, being bullied and picked on all the time. His legacy will forever live on and I will always love & respect Chester forever. And i hope I'll get to meet him someday, when my time comes up in heaven. And if I do get to meet him in heaven, I want to give him the biggest hug and thank him for helping me get thru so much in my life. God... Fuck.. Now I'm fucking crying again. I'll never not cry thinking anout him and watching all of these sad ass videos about remembering him always get to me and I just cant hold back the tears. I cant help it, they just come pouring out every time I think about him or watch shit like this. He was such a beautiful fucking human being, with such a beautiful soul. I'm sure he is the most beautiful angel up in heaven, right there next to my dad who also committed suicide... 💙💙💙💙

I feel you. Every single word, and the ones left unwritten. Chester got into my heart thru Chris, I have been crying lately over Chris Cornell and naturally, now I'm obsessively listening and watching all things Chester. My reasons are... similar and dark. I fear for my son. I can't break the wall to get to him. Living with that person who gave birth to him -- she couldn't be called a mother -- threw him to a living hell and now he lives in darkness... I can't keep writing.

You're not alone. Chester had a huge impact on many people's lives. As an Lp and Chester fan, it hurts me to see comments badmouthing Chester about him committing suicide. Keep in mind he had severe depression. He's been battling with it since he was a child. He was seeing a doctor and taking medicine. HE TRIED TO GET BETTER. But his depression was too deep.

I had tickets to his concert in Charlotte NC on Aug 19th 2017 and I remember being at work and my boss actually broke the news to me, I remember grabbing my phone and believing it would not be real, I found Chester Bennington when I was in HS and he was part of Grey Daze, I still have my Hybrid Theory CD in its original case that I stood in line for hours to get. I followed everything he did from the band he co-produced Dead by Sunrise to Stone Temple Pilots for 2 years. I was so excited when my 1st child was born on March 20th and that she would share a birthday with such an amazing icon. its been almost 3 years and I still am in disbelief.

Chester would be proud! I needed this... I still have not been able to say he's gone, gone from our lives until we all met again. Chester was my favorite singer, we shared the same birthday, got his water & fire wrist tattoos because our birth sign elements are Water & Fire.

Thank you for this documentary. I found it comforting to know I'm not alone with the way I feel ( some days are worse). I've never been affected by a musician's passing as much as Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell's. I didn't know either of them personally ( but I'm a psychic medium) and I feel like I know much more about both of them.
I don't announce being an intuitive person, too many judgemental people out in the world.
I know that Chester is very proud of all LP fans getting together like family. And spreading love.

🙏 Greetings from Hungary 🇭🇺✌ R.I.P Chester 🕊

I really lost myself for awhile and the only thing that helped was the music some of which I’ll never hear the same again. I'm crying while watching this. It honestly hurts my soul because I'm missing a part of it. I'm young, I got into the band right before The Hunting Party, and I never got to see them Live. I barely got to be excited about a possible show I could go to. I grew up with them because of how much my dad loved them. I took that at nine and ran. By The Hunting Party I needed to go see them. It almost felt like I couldn't live without seeing them. I never got to. I feel angry at myself for being too young, angry at my parents for not being able to take me. It's stupid I know. But they're a part of my soul now. I lost my phone a while ago for 2 days and I cried alone in my room because I couldn't listen to them. I cried because I was angry that I felt like I couldn't live without them every day. I cried because I felt stupid. I cried because of everything. And I still do. I know now that there's no such thing as being a bigger fan than someone else. There's no competition. There are people who listen to In the End and Numb and like it, but don't consider themselves fans. but then there are the family. The people who love not only the music, but the personality and human beings themselves

Thank you for this. No-one around me understood how I could feel so sad about the death of some rockstar I didn‘t even knew in person. It was so much more... I understood his, OUR fight. I thought we fought together but suddenly I was left alone. He gave up - on him, even on his family and us fans who need this common understanding. But I was left to fight alone. For what? His lyrics felt hypocritical. Why fight? It‘s easier to run... But you fucking stay and fight! You only got one life. Now I fight alone. It‘s nice to know I‘m not the only one though...

Almost three years now and I am in a huge proces of greaving. Listening to crawling and one more light live hurts so bad and I could not imagine what he must have felt when he decided to end the pain. But I understand. I do not blame him. I never will.
