Just lovely Katherine. I have pale greens and whites with pale pink touches here and there. I might add a pumpkin or two in pale colors. Some of my other parts of the house are blue and white. I may add a touch of pale yellow and pale oranges. I love a nice warm tub soak and a bit of skin pampering. And a warm cup of chai and a good book and I am usually in bed by 7 or 8. Read for a while till I fall asleep. Was looking at a soft and furry winter bedspread the other day. Will be buying it the next time I go shopping. Also been looking at bed toppers too, cannot wait. Maybe get a couple of extra nicely stuffed pillows. Just love to sink in the bed. Especially on the cooler fall and winter evenings. Have a stack of books and magazines on my nightstand at all times. Sometimes I read a couple of different books at the same time if I cannot wait to read them. Always pick things up to read here and there and just place them on my nightstand. God Bless.

We just returned from a lovely autumn visit to Dublin to see our son. The leaves were starting to turn color and there was a refreshing coolness in the air. While I was there, I picked up an autographed copy of your book at Easons!! I can't wait to try out some of your projects with my granddaughter. The little soaps will make great holiday gifts.
That crinkle makes me crave climbing into bed lol. I prefer audiobooks and coffee table books. The darker colors get to me too. I think that blue is perfect for autumn.

My favorite wildlife book for anytime reading is titled "Gifts of the Crow" by John Marzluff and Tony Angell. There is so much in this book that teaches us about ourselves that sometimes you forget you're reading about crows. They are such clever birds; funny, smart and family oriented. I was lucky enough to catch a lecture by the authors and fell in love with crows all over again. Thank you for the great book suggestions.
Eanna Ni Lamhna is totally different and wonderful. Just as good as her books she writes weekly in Saturday's Irish Times, also a guest speaker on Mooney Goes Wild Mondays RTE 1 @10 pm . Her enthusiasm for all things nature, wildlife and environmental is amazing and well worth a listen.

Hi well ! I do have books at the side of my bed but I never read them when I’m in bed, I go to bed around 10 30 and watch RUclips, I know I shouldn’t but it chills me out, I usually have about hour and then sleep and yes you can’t beat a nice clean fresh bedding after a shower 🚿 happy reading! X

I live for the Autumn & Winter months! I love the colors of Autumn as well. However, I do not decorate my house in those colors because they would clash with my colors which are pinks, grays, whites, and a bit of blue in my bedroom, depending on which floral duvet I am using. This makes your bedding right up my alley ladybug; you have a beautiful bedroom! I sure could use a few of the cute storage baskets that Blonde has claimed as her new bed. LOL! Where can I get some? I have very little space to put things away, so I must get creative. The little bungalow I am renting is only 866 sqft; I have lived in smaller homes. It’s so interesting to read all the comments and learn how others do autumn. I wish that October would stretch out over two months at least! I pull out my comfy throws and quilts, put in my autumn essential oils into my diffuser, get out my bigger coffee cups and make a container of Russian tea mix so I can enjoy a cup in the evening. My newest read is “The Little Princesses”. A book written by the nanny of Queen Elizabeth and her sister. I adore biographical type books! Where I live, October is also the local library’s annual used book sale so I’ll be coming home with all sorts of treasures! Love the colors you are using in your bedroom as well as your garden for fall! Who says everything has to be orange, gold and brown??? 🥰🫶🏻 Miss Blondie is adorable! My grand-kitty always had to lay on the newest purchase, or even the tiniest box it came in! 💕

I read every night before going to sleep. I am a voracious reader and I read anything that interests me (No horror or romance.) Your room likes a cozy place to snuggle in. Absolutely love autumn. It just takes a while here in Tennessee.
I love my bedroom and the linen ect has to be just right. I have a doona (DUVA?) but always use vintage blankets as they are so cosy. I have my phone in my room but as ever it is on silent and I too do not use it in bed. A massive room with a lounge at the other end The TV faces into the lounge area not the bed. Reading, all things I love design, food, architecture and of course some gardening books. I also get the British mindful magazine here called "The Simple Things", I love it and its so uplifting. Also I highly recommend "The Little Book of Hygge" its a wonderful read. Love Blondie 😉

The pinstripe with the floral linen 😍 Your bedroom and entire home gives me such adorable hidden cottage cozy vibes. If Goldilocks were there, she would have no complaints 😅 Autumn for me = the smell of cinnamon essential oils over a candle warmer, snuggled up with a throw blanket in my reading chair overlooking the trees that are adorned with different shades of yellow, orange and red, holding onto whatever green is left. With my Kindle in hand and a nice cup of tea on deck.
I love the colors of the bedding! ❤ I love the oranges, reds, browns but I tend to use them in with LIGHTER colors because after a while they are too dark for me. I am loving hot cocoa at the moment and baking more since our temps have hit 35°f overnight. BRRR ☕

I used to make beds in care facilities. Clean linen is definitely my hygge. My favourite scent for cleaning is lemon (lime, citrus).

You can’t beat a nice clean, freshly made bed and I’m with you regarding the mattress topper….it’s a must. Your bed looks super cosy Catherine……I only ever have white bedding🤷♀️ but I have colourful throws and cushions. I’ve recently read ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ which I loved and am now looking for the next read……autumn nights in a comfy bed with a good book is utter bliss…..you’ll sleep well in your beautiful bed👍

I read every night before going to sleep. I am a voracious reader and I read anything that interests me (No horror or romance.) Your room likes a cozy place to snuggle in. Absolutely love autumn. It just takes a while here in Tennessee.

I love my bedroom and the linen ect has to be just right. I have a doona (DUVA?) but always use vintage blankets as they are so cosy. I have my phone in my room but as ever it is on silent and I too do not use it in bed. A massive room with a lounge at the other end The TV faces into the lounge area not the bed. Reading, all things I love design, food, architecture and of course some gardening books. I also get the British mindful magazine here called "The Simple Things", I love it and its so uplifting. Also I highly recommend "The Little Book of Hygge" its a wonderful read. Love Blondie 😉

Autumn for me = the smell of cinnamon essential oils over a candle warmer, snuggled up with a throw blanket in my reading chair overlooking the trees that are adorned with different shades of yellow, orange and red, holding onto whatever green is left. With my Kindle in hand and a nice cup of tea on deck.

I love the colors of the bedding! ❤ I love the oranges, reds, browns but I tend to use them in with LIGHTER colors because after a while they are too dark for me. I am loving hot cocoa at the moment and baking more since our temps have hit 35°f overnight. BRRR ☕
