You have achieved the ultimate achievement for any detectorist. Not only with the Celtic gold coin and that dragon but by sticking it out for all these years, thousands upon thousands of holes. Video after video, year after year. Finally rewarded? You betcha! Thrilled to have witnessed it and thrilled for you beyond comprehension. It's all down hill from here Kris,,. Lol, I'm just joking! Now you can relax knowing you are capable. Thanks for sticking it out so I too can enjoy moments like this.
How fantastic is that ! Very well done sir, those staters either full or quarter are miniature works of art, and to think the last person to touch that coin was a celt, who knows it could even have been one of your ancestors, brilliant find.
A HUGE congratulations to you, Sir! Well done! I am very happy for you. But please don't give up the hunt. There are more bits of history to uncover out there.
So chuffed for you ,couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy well done beautiful finds they are amazing. Just subscribed to Matts Chanel . Love your videos keep them coming GL&HH. If you find out more on those finds please update us.
Congratulations yet again you're killing it out there. See what happens when you give back to the field the artifact belonging to the field.. you're a top bloke.
Amazing hunt! I don’t know what to say but the metal detecting gods certainly smiling on you on this hunt! Can’t think of anyone better for them to be favorable to! Congratulations!
I reckon Matts thing is a button cover, for a wooden button. Celtic button bling. I don't know really. I'm here after seeing the guinea. I'm with you on the celtic seal. Interesting tork end too. Celtic hotspot.
The double shanked button/coin looks like a 'tinny', William & Mary or James II. They used a copper plug to stop forgeries. Well done on the stater old boy!
Kristen u were the man when my Nokta impact gave in and kindly offered to talk the C Scope people to lend me one for Sundays dig at detectival( the I find gang cap wearers) . Ha ha well bloody done, you found a heap of quality somethingness. The cat has got the cream. Can't help with identity as we only find modern farmers but obviously ancient scrap
Ahhh Kris! I am so happy for you...well done!!! Please don't quit... I would love to do this hobby and live vicariously through you instead!! I cant wait for your next find... maybe, dare I say it?... a nice fat shiny gold horde?? Keep trying and well done, sir :)
Great find.. Very hard to make out the details from a video, but the markings on the back look to be from a ruler called Sego. Associate of Tasciovanus. early 1st century. These coins can have either Tascio ,.Sego, Andoco or Rues marked on them. Looks like a very interesting site. Just curious if you can see the sea from there or a river you could be on a settlement. Btw Those coins are in the big money. Vf examples at the 3k mark ten years ago..... Your friend is obviously smiling down on you. Very Well done.
Wow... truly amazing finds... every one of them! Congrats on the Celtic Stater... what a beauty! Happy for you! Seems like that little 4-leaf clover you found awhile back really has brought you some good luck! :) Cheers! :)
Good day to you Sir! Finally got around to watching your video. They're amazing finds and I can't wait to see more. I'm pretty sure Karma is working for you here. Good man Kris!
Well done Kris and Matt I’m made up for you, you’ve got to love the school run right in the middle of a good hunt lol ffs!! Fingers crossed for the next, GL&HH
Well I was equally as happy about a rather nice drawer handle I found!! Haha. Seriously though, that is an amazing find. With your streak right now, maybe a hoard is coming your way. Congrats that man!!!!
Maybe the rings on the bottom of the weight are a Celtic metric system...? Circles can be very useful in that way, anyway that was my first impression. Now I really wanna know what that thing is !
Amazing find once again Kris! Congrats on finding your king of all wishes! You returned the ring and have been rewarded twice. Good luck comes in three. What could possibly top this? A h****? Didn't want to say it and jinx you. Can't wait to see what it will be.
No freaking way!! All the years you been digging with no gold & you find 2 in a couple weeks. This is a strange hobby. All 3 of those finds are super cool. I think it's a matrix seal. Cheers HH
What a gold starter is well nice I just found a kent stater very nice will have video out soon but that one you have is banging love finding history that is amazing and can tell your well over moon I cried lol well done brother bam gold in the whole
Looks like it's a Trinovantes 5BC-10AD North Thames region, you're probably not looking at monetary value but one similar last year seems to have sold for 4000 AUD, STUNNING coin, mate, well done, brilliant find!!!
@@Addictedtobleeps nice job on finding that out, I knew I wasn't exactly correct but the rough date and Trinovantes were there, but you managed to find the exact coin, great coin!
Was doing a rewatch on this (man, that stater is hot) and you know that coin thingy Matt finds at 04:18? I think somebody used a coin to either ornament some leatherwork or fix something, like you'd put a washer between a rivet and what you're attaching it to. Since coins weren't cheap (hah) I'd guess it was ornamental as well as useful-- like people out here where I live in the Great Southwest using old Buffalo Head nickles to make buttons and conchs for their belts. If you could, you soldered a loop to the back; if not, you riveted right through 'em. I have a pair of jeans that were missing two buttons, and since I really like these jeans I drilled some holes through a pair of dimes and replaced them with those-- maybe this is similar? Just a thought. Anyway, carry on, and hello from the wilds of Arizona!
OMG guys what a great field & finds !
That coin is STUNNING! How wonderful for you!
It really is!

Great find Kris, it looks like a Tasciovanus stater, very similar to Spinks 259!
Amazing find once again Kris! Congrats on finding your king of all wishes! You returned the ring and have been rewarded twice. Good luck comes in three. What could possibly top this? A h****? Didn't want to say it and jinx you. Can't wait to see what it will be.

I’m not sure it is though. Take a look at this. I think it looks more like it? www.celticcoins.ca/record.php?coin_id=L5984
@@Addictedtobleeps nice job on finding that out, I knew I wasn't exactly correct but the rough date and Trinovantes were there, but you managed to find the exact coin, great coin!
Thanks man! Weirdly, I think that makes it rarer than the one you mentioned. Not that I’d sell it. Once in a lifetime find and I’m still buzzing 😁
