great video kris, thanks for the heads up re arse wiping!! must remember not to bit my nails😉you have to go back and find the cellar, i know that area was of interest to the germans lots of underground secret bunkers.
Chris, you forgot to mention about the Russian's also being on the side of Germany and Italy during the second world war, Russia only changed sides after Germany decided to basically keep Poland after they had made a agreement to share Poland between them after conquering the lands. The Germans then went on to attack Russia getting as far as Moscow 🧐.So Chris if it's not a Or Well could it be a Oh Well 🤔🤪😅. As always buddy 💯% 👍.
My Grandad was an anti aircraft gunner in the Battle of Britain. He was stationed around Paddock wood area in Kent, after that he went to North Africa and onto Burma.. I think his battery was called The City of Rochester, then he was Royal Artillery.. love anything about Ww1 & 2 :)
I lived in Cheriton as a kid - went to Harcourt Primary. One day we went to school and there was a hole in the football field. There was a WW2 radio room under the field that had caved in. Next to the school there was a wooded area that may reveal some interesting finds if it’s still there. 👍
Awesome video buddy...we haven’t been around for a while...but back at it....grateful to see you still detecting....and your lovely dog still around aww bless...
As a British/ Canadian with some German heritage I really enjoyed this show. 70's British t.v. talent show host Hughie Green was also a Canadian Spitfire pilot 😉🐶🇨🇦
Chris the button you found is a Royal Ordnance Corps not Royal Artillery. Artillery has one gun and ordnance has three. Awesome video by the way mate 👍
Hi, don’t think Iv commented since the manticore release.with you not posting for a while and my situation sucking booty . Anyhoo how’s things today? Hope you’re happy. Pup is looking big and healthy. Hope you find the spitfire cos I know how much that history makes your heart sing. The one person to show the respect and admiration of those we owe so much to who I’d love to find it is yourself. HH much respect and ❤
Is one allowed to be a pedant and point out that the plural of 3 cannon is 3 cannon and not 3 cannons? No? I thought not. I'll head back to my ickle white padded cell now, so. Nice video though! xx
It’s so refreshing to see such enthusiasm, respect and dignity when dealing with our historic past through the centuries 👏

This is all National Trust land 😮
No, no. It’s private fields behind. In the instance of the Spitfire site, it’s nowhere near. 👍🏻
Got to love having Odie back on the hunt

I often go past Cheriton.
Wow! Thats the school (renamed now) my daughter went to. I know the wooded area you’re speaking about 👍🏻
Awesome!
Great vid mate, very enjoyable and informative 👍🏻🤘🏻

Mr eariewig made me bust mate! Ha ha ha great vid Chris!😂😅
Lovely early watch winder Kris, lucky to find it in such good condition 👍It could be a double ended crank key. c.mid-late 1700's . Worth a few bob 🙂
Good luck looking for the Spitfire, Kris - they were often recovered and the metal recycled, so all you may find is fragments, and they'll be deep!

YOUR DOG IS SO HAPPY! :D
He really is dude 😁
Nice to see a fellow Maiden fan... Aces High!
Your beeping videos are always a joy to watch 📢🔎🔬🗿
IT IS SO GOOD to see you back making content again. Are you going to the festival of history rally in a couple of weeks in Cambridgeshire?
About how old do you guess some of those watch winders are Kris?
Yooohooo! I’d say that these ones are probably Victorian to Georgian, so not too old. The oldest is most likely 150 years old ish?
@@Addictedtobleeps 😄👍

Those watch winders are fabulous 🤩why don't you make moulds of them and put them on chains I'd wear a silver one 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Howdy Bleepers 👋🤗
I use toilet paper and drink beers, rule Britannia 🇬🇧
I as an English man love the Germans too beautiful country good economy and they look after there own
You find so many buckles and buttons that it makes me wonder if you Brits had a lot of trouble keeping your clothes on. 🙂
The button is a ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORP BUTTON 🤗 not artillery 😊
Fantastic, thanks Gary! Need to brush up on my buttons 😁
It could also be a mid Victorian Royal Artillery Volunteers button, bearing in mind they would've been stationed at the nearby Dover Castle.
