What's on your pull? I'm getting a lot of Marvel too (as well as everything else) but my fave Marvel books at the moment are Fantastic Four, Carnage, and Incredible Hulk 👀

I've been going slightly niche with my spec - Madame Xanadu, with a pair of high grade Doorway to Nightmare 1s in the past couple of weeks. She's a ways more affordable than Zatanna.

When the big "boom" blew its top awhile back I bought X-factor 5 and 6 newsstand in 9.8 together for $450! Not many things are undervalued these day but that combo is imho!

What does 9.8 mean? If I buy a brand new X-Men ‘97 from my local comic book store for $5, isn’t it by definition of being new, at least 9.8? Sorry, I’m a bit new to comics.
You would think so, but it could have been poorly handled by the shipping people who got it to that shop, or the workers at the shop, or it could have been damaged by another customer putting it back on the shelf wrong... 👀 I've learned the hard way, new doesn't always mean flawless, unfortunately

If you’re not collecting Saga, you’re not speculating to make money - more potential in that show than anything I’ve read in the last 5 years.
Meanwhile I dropped it from my pull list ages ago...might be a hot take but I find Saga incredibly average, even more so since coming back from that hiatus...
I think Amazon just panicked with Silk after the Madam Web failure. They need these Spidey spin offs to have Spiderman in them. Once they are introduced they can go there own way.

You guy's want a good x-men 97 spec comic to hunt for. Xforce 1 (2008) 2nd print. from what I've researched easily the best Bastion cover out there, Its a splash page from the interior, But it's fire. And it seems really rare. not many available ebay

Imagine buying first Apocalypse 9.8 for $1000 lol my god people were dumb.
I was there when X Factor debuted. I was excited with byrne's FF restoration of Jean Grey. But then the X-Factor title of 1986 was a disappointment. Simonson's art helped later on.
I used to have 20 copies of X-men adventures #1 hanging on the wall of my first apartment! They were given to me by a friend who got a bunch at toysRus for a quarter each! Lol! The other wall had 40 copies of Spawn #1 😂 These books were printed into the millions!
That being said....its great that you guys are putting out more of a warning these days about not getting crazy and paying too much for this stuff!
Apocalypse is some of the best X-men stories out there! Hopefully someday they'll do him justice on the big screen or even the little screen!

Does it have to be the cover A on the xmen 97 or is the cover B also $15?
I know cover A of Ultimate spiderman was $50 but other copies were $15-$25 so there could be a difference @hoodwood_comics
We all saw the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse at the end of X-Men: Days of Futures Past post credit scenes. That movie was a hot minute ago. I thought we would have got them much sooner.

@@stuartschultz8823 Pennsylvania. I made a police report here in my local township. But also contacted the Oregon Department of Justice, who then passed my info on to the Lynn County Sherriff where Hero Restoration is based. They have heard from several victims across the US, and feel it would be best for them to file charges in Oregon. There has been a lot of information on the CGC and CBCS forums. If anyone else has sent books to Hero and not recieved them back, they should contact Det. Wilcox ASAP.
