I have been searching youtube for anyone talking about Timothy Zahn's limited editions of the Heir to the Empire series. Are you aware of these signed and numbered vertsions that were produced back in the early 90's? They came with a slip case and had gold trim on the pages. All told there were 1000 numbered copies. 300 for Heir and 350 each for Dark and Last.
Hey Liam! Been a big fan since discovering y’all’s channel about two months ago and have started curating a Star Wars book collection myself. A video I love seeing from other channels that have a strong focus on books/comics collections are “how much have I read”. I’m only sitting at 30% of my collection right now lol, but I’d love to see you and Sanak’s numbers. I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any more till I get to 70%.
I’m glad you’re enjoying reading Star Wars! There are lots of cool looking Star Wars books coming out in 2024. If you’re interested in seeing all of the SW books coming out, we put this video out that details all of 2024’s new releases. I hope it’s helpful! ruclips.net/video/pBOJ81Izsao/видео.htmlsi=vC5v5oyxgQcFoRqk
As of now, I'd have to choose Legends literature. It contains 36 years of stories as opposed to only 10 years of stories, and generally those stories were much more important and impactful to the universe. Canon is starting to head in the right direction though with series like The High Republic, trilogies like Thrawn Ascendancy, and solo books like Shadow of the Sith. Hopeful in 26 more years it will have a similar number of great stories to Legends.
@@starwarslads it was just so different than what you usually expect from a Star Wars novel. Dark and gritty. It made me appreciate Mace so much more though.
My Star Wars book collection consists of the following Death Star (Hardcover) Han Solo's Revenge (Hardcover) Han Solo at Star's End (Hardcover) Lost Tribe of the Sith The Collected Stories (Paperback) This one has the Legends banner Jedi Apprentice #4 The Mark of the Crown ( Paperback) An Adventure's Game Book Hunt the Sun Runner (Paperback) Only reference book I have is The Old Republic Explorer's Guide (Paperback)
Most of my SW friends (GenX) still have all their collections.. i don't know anyone who allows Disney SW in the house but whatevs ;D The young reader stuff from 80's +early 90's is where it gets interesting. Galxy of Fear & Jedi Prince Ken. I only unbox mine when i reread em. And it's been almost 7 years. Its time Lads!
Fabulous collection, man. For your hardcovers, there is a SFBC Tale of… collection didnt see. Young Jedi Knights also collects in 3 SFBC omnibus, which I have seen on shelf at Half Price Books. You will not find Clone Wars wild space or gambit siege in the US or any physical used store. UK published, so usually have to import from UK or Australian used owners. Very rarely a US owner will list, and Im not selling mine. That 1976 release From the adventures of Luke Skywalker actually has a hardcover with a gold cover that you can find occasionally online. I have an ex-library edition.
I mostly use a self made spreadsheet haha. Your comment did remind me that people have been asking for a link to the spreadsheet for a while now. I will make a blank public copy and attach it to the description for you all to use too.
Hey Liam. I know that this video is older now, but you said that you'd be looking to sell the second half of your trade paperbacks in the 2015 Star Wars series. As someone who's starting collecting Star Wars comics, I would totally purchase them from you if you haven't sold them already :)
Hi, sorry I’m just responding now. Your comment got buried in our feed haha. Feel free to email us about this and we can discuss further. I haven’t sold them yet, but I’m still looking to. Thanks
Realize I am a little late to the party here but is there a website of any kind that shows which Adult Novels in legends I can get in standard hardcover. I'm looking to only have standard hardcover and paperback with no SFBC in my collection so I was curious if there was a list somewhere I could look. I don't think there are standard hardcovers for any non-adult books. Then for canon, is there a scale? I have a few canon books and they are all in different sizes.

this is so cool! I didn't realize there was so many different comics and books out there!
Thanks so much! Star Wars has an amazing amount of literature for a film franchise. It’s also surprising that most of it is above average to great
Awesome looking shelves man! Great collection so far! Keep it up!
Thank you!
If you could choose one ? Whay would you choose. Legends or new Canon

Shatterpoint is slept on 💯
It’s incredible! Outside of the RotS novelization, Stover’s work gets heavily slept on

Definitely enjoy your content! I was wondering how you keep track of which books you have and in which form i.e. HC, SFBC or PB.
