A songwriter knows they've written a Masterpiece when it works just as well as an instrumental or with a vocal. Beautiful playing, bending and vibrato. So much soul!

These are just melodic vocals, something we aren't used to anymore these days. So of course it works well when you play the notes on your instrument.
As for Kfir, he tends to start his covers by playing the song in the original range. Then he does the same but 1 or a few octaves higher. Which, in my opinion, intensifies the melodic line. Standardized, but great :)

This masterpiece is so rooted in my childhood and gives so much emotions. I was born in 84 in Poland so growing shortly after the fall of communism. And it was still hard for my family. My mom loves music but all we had were three cassettes with Scorpions, Queen and Deep Purple. And we played them all days long on old Panasonic two casette player. I didn't yet understand English but I knew this one tells a story. A story of loss, grief, disagreement to reality but also hopelessness. Maybe with a glimpse of hope but not so much. The fact that music can tell such a story by itself made me fall in love with music and melodies. After life of ups and downs, now at 39 I bought my first guitar. Mainly thanks to you and your inspiring channel.
Every newb wants to learn solos from Comfortably Numb or Stairway to Heaven. So do I. But this comes at 3rd place.
And it's so damn good melody and composition it doesn't even need a bscking track.

This song hits somewhere different...evokes a nostalgia of different kind...a past love, a forever love, a feeling which I can't put into words, try how much ever I might...what a song! I sometimes think that the greatest of the music was created even before I was born, the music of my era has beibers and likes...I mean they can be good too, no offense....but this was outright greatness, genius, which can never ever happen again!
