Their songs still resonates with me. There was never a day when I don't sing or listen to atleast 1 of their songs. I've only seen them in concert twice and I feel so proud. Everyone is a vital member. I'm a GD stan, but TOP looks like a sculpture. He doesn't look human at all. So unreal. Seungri is a bias wrecker- so good looking. Daesung is adorable and that voice is to die for. GD and Taeyang is as cool and as awesome as they are in all these videos.

I've been a BB fan since 2007. It's hard to explain but what made me gravitate towards their music/songs is not bec it was a new music discovery (Kpop) but it was just good pop music that just happened to be in a language other than my own.

I love that TOP has two types of voice: 1st very deep and low and 2nd much deeper, low and hoarse. When he lowers his voice to almost a growl, goosebumps go through my whole body. OMG!!!!! Finally, you find them. Big bang not only a K-pop boy band, they are true artists. They can sing, rap, dance, write songs, and compose music. my biggest regret is that i didn’t go to their made tour. it was during my uni days and i don’t have money to buy the tix. if i could turn back times….. so far i only get to see taeyang n gd live for their solo tour and totally worth the 💵 . taeyang deserves so much more, his angelic voice is so beautiful. looking forward to see the other members and the whole group ❤
My first Korean group was BigBang and for over a decade I didn’t listen to another group. Never had the want, need, or curiosity. That only changed just this year.

I wasn’t big on large groups in addition to not caring much for other groups in general but I was curious because everyone compared Haruto to Top in terms of rap tone. I watched the survival show and their variety show Treasure Map. I actually forgot they were a music group for months. By the time I did hear their music I was already in love with them as a person. Also the fact that they’re fellow VIPs, they grew up listening to BigBang, going to their concerts. They’ll randomly bust out singing BigBang’s songs.

True..i've been into kpop since 2009 and i can say that no other kpop artist is on bigbang's level. Bigbang will make you feel like you are there at their concerts even if your just watching their videos. The greatest kpop artist ever...

Other groups have come into my heart and faded slightly, but BIGBANG is truly eternal in my heart. My heart still swells the same as it did 15 years ago when I first heard them. Music crosses barriers. Once it reached you, those barriers don't matter anymore. And that's why BIGBANG members are successful solo artists. Coz they can still fill a whole stadium or arena even if they are just performing solo. And they never lost their identity for the sake of following trends or pleasing everybody. You’re right about the part about Teayang singing “This Ain’t it”. Whenever I watch videos of him shirtless, I really didn’t mind his body or how hot he looks. My mind is focus in his performance and his voice. This is also applicable to all of Bigbang (although they didn’t really tried the “sexy” concept like you pointed out), I never really cared how they’ll look, for me, whenever they are on stage, they automatically become the most handsome and hottest guys breathing on earth. They are just so talented that you wouldn’t even think of anything else.

U can consider SuJu, DBSK, 2PM, Shinee,EXO... as their competitor but they weren't really competing. Its hard to say who compete against Bigbang during their prime. You're are right when you said if you turned into full time VIPs you will ditch all other groups. I was once multis but along the way I ditched all other groups and now I'm just VIPs. Safe yourself a heartbreak just be a casual VIPs. Being VIPs is damn hard nowadays.

Their first Japanese albums had a lot of English in them because they didn't feel so comfortable with their Japanese yet. Their earliest Japanese albums had English versions of their songs, then later ones would have the vocal line singing in Japanese but the rap line rapping in English, until eventually the rap line started getting comfortable enough to start rapping in Japanese. I personally like it when T.O.P raps in English, his voice sounds so deep.

TOP once said in a Japanese interview: I don't like performance that are unnatural. I want to make it natural and don't overact. Even I don't do any special movement, I want the fans to feel the big energy. Simple performance is always difficult. I think they always had a hand in producing and directing their concerts. GD espcially is a perfectionist. You could watch the BigBang MADE and the Act Motte Tour Documentary. They showed the behind-the-scenes there for their concerts

I've been a BB fan since 2007. It's hard to explain but what made me gravitate towards their music/songs is not bec it was a new music discovery (Kpop) but it was just good pop music that just happened to be in a language other than my own.

The only group I love either in KPOP, I'm an old school when it comes to music,but when I get to know BIGBANG I don't know what happened to me but I love them automatically, I'm in love with the koewokikasete, tell me good bye and love dust song from them.. until now my number 1band now is BIGBANG even though mostly of them love hiatus, I keep waiting for them .. just watching their old video old performance is enough for my drought days in KPOP. I love that TOP has two types of voice: 1st very deep and low and 2nd much deeper, low and hoarse. When he lowers his voice to almost a growl, goosebumps go through my whole body.

I wasn’t big on large groups in addition to not caring much for other groups in general but I was curious because everyone compared Haruto to Top in terms of rap tone. I watched the survival show and their variety show Treasure Map. I actually forgot they were a music group for months. By the time I did hear their music I was already in love with them as a person. Also the fact that they’re fellow VIPs, they grew up listening to BigBang, going to their concerts. They’ll randomly bust out singing BigBang’s songs.

Around @30:24 I remember around that time Dae had issues with his throat to the point where the doctor was telling him stuff like he could lose his voice if he kept singing. Luckily he had recovered around the time when MADE was released.

You’re right about the part about Teayang singing “This Ain’t it”. Whenever I watch videos of him shirtless, I really didn’t mind his body or how hot he looks. My mind is focus in his performance and his voice. This is also applicable to all of Bigbang (although they didn’t really tried the “sexy” concept like you pointed out), I never really cared how they’ll look, for me, whenever they are on stage, they automatically become the most handsome and hottest guys breathing on earth.
They are just so talented that you wouldn’t even think of anything else.

Their first Japanese albums had a lot of English in them because they didn't feel so comfortable with their Japanese yet. Their earliest Japanese albums had English versions of their songs, then later ones would have the vocal line singing in Japanese but the rap line rapping in English, until eventually the rap line started getting comfortable enough to start rapping in Japanese. I personally like it when T.O.P raps in English, his voice sounds so deep.

TOP once said in a Japanese interview: I don't like performance that are unnatural. I want to make it natural and don't overact. Even I don't do any special movement, I want the fans to feel the big energy. Simple performance is always difficult.
