I like that you gave opinions about each of the characters. That's what makes it different from the other reviews. I do agree with you. They really did nerf the characters here. In the first Legends game, knockback was so fun. But here, it's like it's not even present anymore. Using Jean's psychic scream in the first one was very satisfying because as she levels up, the enemies are pushed across the room. Still hoping for a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 4.
The reason why Nightcrawler's extreme, Master of Chaos is so ungodly powerful is because the damage calculation is off by a decimal, making you deal a ton of damage you're not supposed to. He also has a bug where his teleport attacks are free if you only have one point into the prerequisites. Gambit and Bishop's Energy Fury buffs are also miscalculated and overbuff melee attacks. On top of that, the integer formula for percentage damage powers deal way more damage than they actually should while buffed by Energy Fury. But only use Gambit or Bishop because the effect doesn't stack and can break the game. Also abusing this literally sucks the fun out of the game. Rogue's healing ability is bugged, taking away any positive buffs when you use it. It also lowers your party's damage. Jean's buffs are very useful but her mutant powers are kind of useless since the damage calculation for mental damage was miscalculated giving every enemy a massive resistance to mental damage they weren't meant to have. She'll become more useful if you stack radiation damage gear. My favorite team was Old School: Cyclops, Toad, Magneto, Iceman. But I focused on damage resistance buffs for Magneto since he's literally the best tank in the game, made toad and Cyclops ranged DPS and Iceman melee DPS.
I really liked how you went through every character explaining their strengths and weaknesses. I've been looking for info like that and haven't been able to find much. There aren't any tier lists for this game that i can find here on RUclips sadly. I found one video on the top 5 characters, but that was it.
I remember staying up til like 4 in the morning at a mates place playing this. I played as Gambit or Wolverine and he played Juggernaut. Gambit/Jugg was amazing as Gambits staff attack counted as energy attack which Juggernaut fed off. Juggernaut having the ability to to throw Wolverine into the fight was great, you didn't know whether you were getting thrown into the fight or over the edge to your death. Good times
I loved this game back when it first came out, and it still holds a spot in my top 10 favorite games of all time. I mained Juggernaut. If you do it right, his ability to convert damage into energy gives him infinite uses of his less expensive powers. Iceman is glitched so that if you only put one rank into a certain power, all of his other powers don't use energy. Nightcrawler has a similar glitch with one of his teleportation multi-attacks, making it (and only it) free to use. Prof. X is great for his radial stun attack. Iron Man is glitched, so his power up also affects his powers. This makes his rapid-fire attack turn into a ton of damage over a short period of time. Combo him with Bishop's unlimited energy ultimate for the most DPS in the game by a country mile. If you feel like really going nuts, add Toad's group buff. There's a room where henchmen keep teleporting in as soon as the previous one drops. Just line up Iron Man so that he's shooting across both teleporter pads and use Bishop's ultimate to farm infinite XP and random loot drops. Finally, Leadership is BUSTED in this game. Max it out on 3 support characters and call for help whenever you use a power to gain several times more XP per kill and get a massive damage boost to all powers. I usually run one main character with Prof. X, Cyclops, and Magneto to absolutely power level the first.
2005 games X-Men Legends 2 were mainly just focusing on gaming, character and marvel/mutant storyline. Love the combination of X-Men and Mutant Brotherhood working together. This was gaming before tablets and mobile phone when gaming were not using gambling as a monetization strategy just 10yrs later in (MFF). Wonderful voice acting and strong characters /dialog instead of grind and gambling. The Marvel Characters are vibrant, motivated and real in games, animated shows and comics. Games really added to our lives and hopes! Trying to pass on my love of superheroes to my son is tough these days compared to then. Time to go see Ant Man 3! Thanks for this Moon Bro! Hope you got your apartment situation in order! Halve a great year 2023!
GREAT VIDEO! My team was always Iceman Scarlet Witch and Sunfire. Then I would add Juggernaut Colossus Storm Gambit or Nightcrawler depending on my mood.
this game need come back like did Marvel alliance 3 did but still letdown why not make another this game sequel so why not? if game was made sequel maybe they probably copy paste from MA3 from nintendo..oh well we wait see console

He is actually playing, but no videos about the game
In this game, I loved Bishop toad magneto and Scarlet witch. Always got a love wolverine and how many people cyclops can hit at one time
Defeating the game with Ice man was a Breeze 😂 I buffed his slide ability and became unstoppable
I play with Sunfire, I love him
Shame i never played this game. Great video
why did you delete all the videos on your channel?
Maybe channel rebranding.
They are still alive but I kept them private since almost no one watches them in 2023.
