Thank you so much for the review! I wanted to create something I would wear every day. I wanted the dial to do most of the talking. Hope you all like it. And if you don’t, I appreciate any and all feedback.
@@uhmerrykanit is 41mm in diameter, by 47mm lug to lug, with 22mm lug width. The bracelet is currently tapered from 22-20mm but we are increasing the taper to 22-18mm on the production model. We are also chamfering and polishing the edges of the bracelet on the production model as well as upgrading the clasp. Hope this helps!
Without a doubt a good looking watch. With the depth and colour of the dial. Only one thing preventing me from buying, it's the logo. I really hope there's a better logo design that can make it look more classy and meaningful.
Saw this watch on a RUclips video with Teddy Baldassarere and Kevin O'Leary. Bought two and cannot wait for their arrival. That fume' dial is mesmerizing.
Very nice diver, the dial looks phenomenal, the fumé seems to be very well executed (i.e. it is changing very gradually) and it also has this one-directional brushing effect, which makes it even more interesting to look at. (I have a mint quartz Tissot PRX with a similar, but more pronounced brushing effect). The color combination green(ish) with cream is also beautiful. My favourite watch dial colour was blue, but I am getting more and more into green and I think more brands are going that way, but maybe that is just my perception.
Hello and thanks for this video Chris. I'm not into divers, but this one is really well done. Especially the sandwich dial with its beautiful green and its stunning lume. At this price range, and swiss made, this model could be the beginning of a really interesting brand.
Nice looking watch! With good dimensions! Love the gradient green/blue dial! ( Getting green Orient kamasu vibes - the latest model) I honestly find it difficult though to see the connection between the sparrow logo and a divers watch ... Doesn't seem to relate at all in my opinion. Wishing you all the best! Take care!
Wren is really just short for WRist ENthusiast, and a wren ended up being a bird. So using a bird made sense. It’s not really related to a dive watch admittedly. Thanks for the kind words!
Looks great except for the bracelet. There’s too much space between links. No taper as well. If the bracelet can be improved, I will definitely order this watch.
Really great looking watch but pricey (edging CW territory). My biggest deal breaker would be no fly adjust especially at that price point and only three micro adjust :0. All clasps should have five minimum as when on centre hole it gives two either way. I also personally prefer a double fold over for a dive watch. Has anyone made a double fold over OTF clasp yet??
I very much like the dial but the boring bezel and the skinny handset don’t do much for me. Also the bracelet and clasp look VERY unrefined. So that’s a “no” from my side.
The Laventure Sous-Marine called, it wants its dial back, because you stole it. Otherwise, case and handset look straight out of a factory parts catalog. Not seeing any originality here whatsoever.

Great watch, congrats. Would you mind sharing the lug width and whether the version for sale has a taper on the bracelet?

Very attractive watch! Thanks, Chris, for yet another great review!
Love the brand name
WR ist
EN thusiast
Cool play on words and a real animal
Fantastic branding
Thank you so much!
LOL how I love logo more than watch itself

Much appreciated 🙏🏻
Great dial and layout. A brushed ceramic bezel insert might have worked better with the dial 🤔

Great design, carefully executed. Planned changes will make it virtually perfect imo.
👍👍👍 Nice Watch and Elegant Watch , Back with Good looking Logo Sparrow Bird introduce by Watch Chris 👍👍👍
Just ordered mine I cant wait
Wren = WRist ENthusiast
Lol I didn't see that lol makes sense!!!
It's very clever to be fair to the guy. Beautiful piece, he clearly knows what he's doing.
Exactly right!
My inner ornithologist loves the wren on the caseback, the more stylized dial wren could have fooled me. Nice looking watch,

@@wristenthusiast oh ok! So, a wren is actually a species of birds!
I get the play in words now! 👍😉
What is the final movement finish eg cosc, top, elabore, or standard?
This or a Heron Marinor, for vintage bird themed watches?
Nice watch old fashion look

I like the bird logo, that’s cool.
I'm thinking the Wren is a reference to wrist enthusiast private, with the first two letters of each word being Incorporated to form the name
Exactly! We didn’t want the watch to be too overtly Wrist Enthusiast
@@wristenthusiast I got something correct in 2024! I'm sitting the rest of the year out!
Also a question is the watch going to be numbered because you’re only making 100?
Great looking watch ❤️🔥
Beautiful watch.. lets get a buckle that is milled with micro adjust. Come on
We are reworking the bracelet and buckle. I’m going to look into adding a microadjustment. Not sure if it’s feasible at this point
i like that watch.
Really nice effort but it's a pass from me at that price. It's just not competitive enough in a crowded field.
Good lookin for sure.

“WREN” is WRist ENthusiast of course
When I was this watch it made me feel like a kid 🧒

As discussed we weren’t happy with the bracelet clasp either and it’s being changed. It will be improved prior to production.
The hands are on the thin side for sure.
A true watch enthusiast won't be selling such crappy clasp.
We are actually changing it because we weren’t happy with it, so you’re right! We will hopefully have the final clasp soon!
1000 dollars to much for this watches not very specific-just regular watches
Really nothing special about this watch. Hard pass and so many other solid choices at that price. Not even a passing thought on this one.

shame about the apprentice level logo design! why do they always fail on the logo design and brandname?
