I used to hang out deep in the east side of Cleveland with a school friend whose grandma lived up there. When it comes to feeling awkward there is something you have to keep in mind. If they are poking fun at you , talking, and look relaxed, you are fine. It's when no one will talk to you and they just look at you from time to time that you need to worry.
Danny Glover is cool. I drove a limo in Vegas at one time, and Glover ordered a limo and I got the dispatch. When I arrived, before I could get to the rear passenger door, he had opened up the front passenger door and hoped in. Had a he'll of a fun drive.

Brother, I live in a district in the Philippines (retired U.S. military) where I'm the ONLY foreigner! There are groups, and "gangs" here, as well as the NPA (New People's Army), rebels that fight against gov't troops. I see troops go by every other day. But, no one has ever bothered me in years, bc I don't take any sides. I am neutral, and it's the only way I can be safe. They KNOW I'm ex-military, but the U.S. never did fight against the NPA, so we are not their enemy. There are NPA members who live near me (but, of course, they don't say it out loud, and they intentionally do not involve me or my family). I don't ask, and they don't tell.
Hey my mom and dad adopted us I have 2 brothers 1 white one black so when we meat my black brothers family members later on we were invited in cookouts and black partys and oh Lord we were so white and lonely haha , but these people are my family now and love them forever

One of the millions of cool things the younger generations don't understand...it was an honor not so long ago to get roasted by a big comic like the woman in the crowd and the crowd goes along to make the moment better. Most older women would have loved that he called her out and roasted her because she gets it. People now being so hyper sensitive about her hurt feelings just don't get it. Everyone is set on extreme overreact mode and don't even understand what is really going on. Like a lot of things, the ignorant masses have turned a womans memory of a lifetime roast from a legend into some kind of mean attack. All the best.
