- Hey everyone! THANK YOU FOR 25,000 SUBSCRIBERS!! THAT'S INSANE! Thank you so much for your support! I've gotten a large number of requests and questions about how to make the amazing Starburst Granny Square bigger, so I decided to make this for you :) Sorry that I've posted 2 Starburst Granny Square related videos in a row, but it seems that everyone really loves the pattern! I created this pattern from the original Starburst Granny Square pattern by adding in the shell stitches (in blue) and then adjusting the cluster stitch round and the last round.

Hi, thank you so much for this tutorial :-) I have a question... In the 4th round (the cluster stitch round) is there any way to make the gaps smaller? The holes look very big, and I was wondering if the round could be made denser in any way...
Thank you :-)
when you do 4dc2tog(4 dc cluster stitch), do 5 instead. and in case of triple crochets do 4 instead and only chain 2 in between
Just started crocheting this week and already made a 4 x 4 granny square blanket. Now trying your starburst granny square. And I done it! Thank you for making your tutorials easy to follow. X
I just started doing this. I love how you explain everything so slowly. I am having a hard time tension. I have tried a few ways to hold my yarn but none I am comfortable with. Some stitches are good then some are too loose. I was wondering what your thoughts were.
This is AWESOME! I'm running out to get a new CROCHET HOOK so I can make this tomorrow! THANKS!
if i wanted to do the outside row faster, could i make them tripple crochets instead of double? and if so would i have to do 4 chains in the beginning of the row?
could you possibly do a tutorial on how to crochet a letter into your work in some way?
can i know how to crochet a big soccer ball
I must say that you do an excellent job at explaining what needs to be done in order to complete your project I'm excited about doing a starburst granny square blanket

love your videos. Thanks for great and easy to follow instructions.
Can I do it with just one colour?
Hi - thank you o much for your videos and tutorials. Even as a lefty, I can follow you. Just a question, if I wanted to continue with another row, would I put a chain in between the double crochets or just keep double-crocheting from corner to corner?
Your videos are by far the easiest to follow along that I've found. Is it possible for you to crochet a hat and/or a scarf? Thank you!
Wow! Very nice pattern. I love it 😍😍😍 And very clear tutorial. Thanks 😊💕
Is is possible to make an entire blanket a starburst pattern without having to make individual squares?
Is there any way to join squares together which are different colours without adding another border? Thanks

Hi, you have some great tutorials. I am part of group called sixtymilliontrebles and we are in the process of creating a website to show people how to crochet so that can be participate. Would it be possible to use your videos on our site? You can look at what we are trying to achieve on Facebook or www.sixtymilliontrebles.co.uk. Thank you Liz x
Yes of course!
When up the size you need to chain 3 first right ?
Gostaria de vê os seus vídeos em língua português
I enjoyed your tutorial. Thanks
You are a great teacher. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. When looking at the yarn you are using I do see you are using different brands. So as long as the yarn is the same weight you can use different brands? I am not doing too bad at the crocheting part, but the yarn part is confusing me! LOL. Thanks again! :)
Yup, you've got it! As long as the yarn is the same weight you can use whatever brand of yarn you like!
Hi, why dont you upload videos anymore?

My absolute favorite granny square pattern 😍
love video, where can I find written pattern?
You need to slow down a bit I would have watched the whole video but you were going too fast
Sorry, if I'm going to fast I'd recommend slowing down the video with the gear icon in the bottom right-hand corner, pausing it and continuing, or go back to previous sections. I often have to do that when watching a new video
You've showed me how to do star burst square. I would like to learn the hart an the flower one also
I have a few flower videos on my channel that you can check out if you like :)

Love your videos! Thank you so much!
Very good tutorial👏👏👏
thought i knew this song
I have a question: To make it bigger can you add more stitches on the first round?
Yes, you could definitely try that out! Using a magic circle or a longer chain to start out, you can add more stitches to the first round and most likely make it larger. I haven't tried it before but it seems like it would work! I would just be careful with the last row because you will have to choose which and the number of stitches to make it into a square. Let me know how it turns out and if you are having any trouble or need clarification about what I said :)
simplydaisy thanks for the recommendation I'll try it
Norma Colegio good job!
did you figure this out yourself? nice work!!
Yes I did! I played around with it a lot and finally figured it all out :) Thanks!
pretty
Ok thank you
You
You are so awesome! I love this
Thx a lot
I barely can hear you
my only complaint is that I thought she was saying"sp Daisy" not "simply Daisy", sounded better on this video
Just found your website...I thought other women on their own website talked fast, but when I started your video, I was shocked!!!! I turned the video off, I couldn't take it. How can people learn from you, this was too much for me. I'm going back to my all time favorite website. You're no good for me, sorry.
why so FAST? :) 👎
I'm new to RUclips and looking for some lovely Grannysquares patterns. Thanks for sharing 🌹
