I love how Dorothy played her own grandmother and gives us an indication for why Sophia is such a riot. Which means after Sophia dies Dorothy will continue the "picture it" bits.

Rose: If we're lucky you can see Mount Losenbaden. It's kind of like Mount Rushmore except they sculpted four losers of presidential elections. Let's see, there's Alf Landon, Wendell Willkie, Adlai Stevenson and Adlai Stevenson.

I don't like how Saint Olaf it's so cut off from the outside world that the only way into the town is by horse and carriage. It's almost as if the town is intentionally isolated. Which when you think about rose's stories it would make sense why the town is so isolated
