I worked on this as a teenager my uncle had a coin-op business and I had a job there. This is one of the newer games I recall at the time it seemed to modern. It was a fun game to play I goofed off a lot on Saturdays playing it when I had the weekend shift.

Well it was released in 1989 so it was more modern than an Atari Super Sprint (86') although it is in that similar style.

Ivan “Ironman” Stewart Super Off-Road. I remember seeing this at arcades and playing this at my friends house on the NES

I knew it was not a Polybius effect! Back in the day when everyone had this vame either on the NES or their Intel 386 computer, I swore to my friends I had seen a cabinet like this at our local arcade one day that I was going alone. But the next time we went all there, the cabinet was gone and never returned. They bashed at me for months because I hyped them so much at the thought of playing this game with a steering wheel. In the ens I got so much hate that I started genuinely thinking that everything had been just my imagination.
Thanks a lot for this video. I'm gonna send it to a couple smartasses, with the biggest font sized "i told you" that I can find 🤣

Also take into account this is the Australian version cab so the side artwork is different to the US version and most likely any that were exported to Europe, etc :)

Did the Aussie version not have Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's name plastered all over it, or is this a later iteration? (sort of like Mike Tyson being removed from Punch-Out)

No that's on the US version of the cab only and the cab side art has Ivan (as a caricature) hanging out the side window of his truck giving the thumbs up. This Oz version is as you see in the vid, including the marquee/translite.

Nahh there was never a 4 player of this machine. There was a 2 player in the US version but apparently they are very rare and i don't think there was ever an Australian version 2 player cab. Don't be too jelly :) it's been sold so i no longer have it in the collection.
