It was a dark contrast to his toons jn infered what he had become at the loss of his innocence/persual of power to revive his wife. This is alla. Bit heavy and the concept of Sacrifice in this manner is a bit nuch..tribute and relinquishing infers less harm and more concent so they replace that term.
Ring (or Bell) of Destruction being uncensored in Eternal Duelist Soul always stood out to me, especially since I had played 7 Trials to Glory first and was very familiar with the censored art from being blown out by it

What's funnier about the Helios cards being uncensored in Ultimate Masters 2006 is that the second form is one of the campaign duelists. That includes the larger coin flip art, like there's no way the booba haters could have missed that but they did somehow. It's not as eye catching as DMG in Destiny Board Traveler, but still very noticeable.
Interestingly in EX2006(Ultimate masters 2006), You can change the language setting in JP version to see all the "censored" artworks. I'm pretty sure you can't get original uncensored artwork even if you change language to japanese in other versions.

I do find it funny that red eyes are censored from the ocg to tcg. 4 kids however adds red eyes to the show to allow the "stupid kids" (who I think are a lot more intelligent than 4 kids gives them credit for) to see mind control is happening. While demonic entities are somewhat more intense than subtle mind control you could make the claim that a demon would control people with a faint red glow in the victims eyes. So either way it doesn't really work...
Been playing DM5 and DM6 lately; the art and all the other stuff is so much better. DM5 is a completely different game compared to EDS. PROTIP: The Japanese UM2006 still has the language selection, so you can play it in English. EDIT: I checked out my JPN copy of UM2006 and the art is uncensored OCG art if playing in Japanese, but if you change it to English, it changes to the censored TCG art. :/

Some of the overlooked artwork was likely due to the GBA graphics being so compressed. I remember as a kid often not knowing what the hell I was looking at.
Here's hoping they remove this censorship in the Early Days collection releasing next month. If Konami actually cares, I feel they should fix the censorship, especially since on Steam it's flagged as frequent violence and/or gore. However, if Konami does not care, they'll be lazy by not removing the censorship. I feel they have no reason to be scared of parents' reaction if that warning label on the Steam release is present. A game with frequent violence and/or gore, is not a kids game. Only way I see Konami not correcting the censorship, is being lazy by slapping just the roms of the games with quality of life functions built into the emulation. The graphics of the uncensored versions already exists, with a little work they could replace the artwork. I do know though in a game, changing graphics in a rom isn't simply copy and paste. Actual work on a programming level is required to not break it, though not a ton of work
from what it seems like we're gonna get GB, GBC, and GBA games in the collection. We'll have to see what ones they add. It's a shame some aren't being localized though.

It isn't a religious symbol but a widely known symbol for the group that shows up on first-aid kits commonly. They are the authority for first-aid provisions and provide first-aid/CPR/AED training for jobs tgat require it. If you met a US lifeguard, they would have had to undergo Red-Cross certified First-aid and CPR training.
Indeed, it's actually protected for use of symbolizing medical care per the Geneva convention, and using it in a Yugioh card is a violation of the Geneva convention so they were forced to change it

Not whatever the majority of primary English-speaking people mispronounce it as. This annoys me so much as one who was raised on Japanese culture, and is partially Japanese as well. Since my dad is Japanese. And since I fight for what I feel is right. My heart of making right of wrong isn't going to let you off the hook with this mistake made by you without me correcting you, regardless of the mistake being intentional or not. Even if my words fall on deaf ears (as they usually do online), I will still do what I can to make right of what I see as wrong.

JP Board Traveler DMG was a massive buff for whatever reason. She wasn't THAT big in the manga or anime.
