Amazing games! I also loved the games from 5D's Synchro era with Yusei, allowed the decks to flourish a bit more leaning more into the special summoning side, it would be lovely to watch you play/speedrun them
It's interesting to watch this, i was aware of esports yugioh back in the ds days cause a lot of the ghosts based on real duelists had real meta decks (and a few hacked 5 card deck exodia ones). Was a fun time that master duel doesn't really capture
I did! I still have it too. During World's I brought my own cable because I was worried that they wouldn't have one with the Game Boy Micro connector, and it turned out that that was 100% the case.

Hey scrubdude, I was imagining doing a challenge run in either 7 trials to glory or UM2006 where you can only use cards that you get from passwords (either slowly replacing your starter deck or adding to the card pool including your starter deck). Any good ideas jump to mind what you would prioritize or should I just look up whatever meta deck I can make in the game and use that
I know the guy who got second place losing to Francois Ferry in 2003. You said a user called "yu-gi-oh shadow kingdom" uploaded video from the GBA competition. I can't find it, could you direct me to it? I wanna see my buddy getting wrecked. And if you have any questions I can forward them along.

Japan also had events for the Game Boy Duel Monsters games, like there was a big tournament before the OCG even existed.
