My guy I think you just put a bunch of buzzwords together to shit on California. Its still the 5th Largest economy on Earth, and still twice the size of Texas' and GROWING. I lived in both States, both are incredible places. Both also have very big problems. The reality of the situation is Chevron moved because Texas is willing to let them rape the environment at a lower tax rate. Same with Elon. Texas is business friendly at the expense of the poor people. When you account for the high property and sales taxes, the high cost of medical care and insurance premiums, Texas really isnt insanely cheaper. Not to the mention California has incredible landscapes and weather compared to Texas. Corpus beaches are ghetto, and the nearest mountains if youre in San Antonio or Austin are 5+ hour drive away at big bend. Still a Beautiful state. Honestly, a strong social safety net is only bad if you plan on exploiting the working class and living in a gated community so you don't need to experience the fallout of the inequality a highly corporatized system produces.
