Cheers Rams, nice job on the review, I wonder how the two boys will fare in their individual endeavors?? Only Time will tell I guess ,only one I believe is a perfumer the other a chemist ,so that will make for a good comparison down the line.🙏✌️👍
Intriguing. I may have to get a sample. As far as Zakir’s brand it’s call ahom world. They’ve been selling oud oils and just started some perfumes. I’m interested in those for sure.
Agree with your assessment. Just wish the actual incense was stronger - I can't believe the juice to be more than 10-15% concentration, without any siliage. Interested in their last release soon. I still have an unused bottle of their first release, Charbagh, and they started real strong with their offerings, but dived down pretty steep thereafter. Would be interesting to do a duo review of their first release of Charbagh, and their future last release.
Money, Ram.... along with all the dua / dupe brands, there's also an explosion of so-called artisanal brands that want a piece of the Ensar / Areej pie.... only they ain't in it for the Perfumery art, but for profit and are using regular / low grade, off the shelf oils, the type used in scented candles, room oil burners, skin oils, soaps etc. So it's not that they are not using enough oil, it's the quality of material and concentration, as water based (non-solvent) oils naturally vary hugely in water dilution depending on the extraction and refining process used before ethyl alcohol is even added .. hence, why you can have a cologne from 70 years ago, being much more intense, deeper, richer, more projecting than that of a modern pure parfum / extrait equivalent, even though the oil concentration is technically much higher in the later.
Yeah they both fill a similar role for me though... something about these Dixit & Zak frags strikes me as so similar I almost indifferent which one I have lol
I kinda lost interest in indie perfumery. Just over a year ago I was raving about Emperor's Court and thought it's one of the best things in the world. But then after I got into vintages they feel sort of meh... By the way I got into vintages because of this channel, so I you ruined indie perfumery for me. 😆 Tibetan Encens at least reminds the smell of a cabinet full of Western and Asian traditional medicine mixed together in my grandparents house when I was a kid.
☆Nice one Ram! Was distracted as usual with your analogies. The mind kept wondering what would be a Shaolin monk of ensens? Lol!!! 😂❤❤❤

I am on a tangent tonight... but it's the only way to describe something so abstract 🐏🐯
