I think those just fit the best to him. I think the toxicity is WHY people love fyozai so much, like when u see edits and stuff it's usually obsessive, crazy, abusive, I think the dark aspect of the relationship is the reason people love that ship (maybe it helps them deal with their own struggles idk?)

As a fyozai fan…I see them more like people who might work with each other if dazai never met oda and i still see them as toxic but i still think it's one of the most interesting ship's

I'm living the dream as a multishipper. Mainly a fyozai shipper because I love toxic ships (I pref one sided fyozai but two-sided is slightly growing on me over time), buut when I want comfort and more fluffy things SKK is great for that, as well as sometimes Kunizai? Depends. Kunizai angst tho is peak, esp with recent chapters. Sigzai less so now, but it's sometimes fun? Though I love sigma so most things to do with him I like. Souheki is more of something I phase in and out of as a guilty pleasure because it can be difficult to see Ranpo not with Poe sometimes, if you know what I mean lol. My favourite ship set up is probably SSK with one sided fyozai.
I mean it was thinking of adding the nurse from the manga and the waitress but then I was too lazy to make the ocs... He does get shipped with women but I don't see it that often
