1:50 Justin this should be on every television on earth! Always did that, drive at least at noon and then increase volume...💀 Now my drive pedals, don't know how to say it, I feel them much better under the fingers, much more responsible, spongy. Thank you 🙏 You are gift from heaven 😅
Excellent points Justin I was very lucky my first guitar teacher showed me how to dial in tones on amps and pedals always said turn the level up everything else down and then work your way to noon Sage advice given to a 12 year old LOL
Thank you for sharing Justin, very nice of you. I'll post a long comment soon, about pedals and drives, it might help too. Btw, just as an experience, try to use your Boss equalizer to beggin with, not for the equalising part but, for the buffer all boss pedals have. I see you're using a 'passive guitar' and going for that 'on the edge of breaking tone', try it once. You can use any boss pedal as a buffer, not for the effect. You might be in for a surprise. Tell you more later. Take care and have a great day. ps watching from the French Alps.
Good tips. Just started watching your channel. It would be good to see you demo these points with a guitar and amp, rather than just talking, would be easier to understand all the nuances. Just my opinion of course, but in my view it helps other gear channels remain engaging to watch long term. Good luck!

Spot on points! When I can't play at higher volumes, I find myself compensating by adding more gain.
Thanks so much!!

You were correct turn up the Princeton .! Sounds much better easier to play and get the best sound
yup
I like to run straight into the amp but sometimes I use a Blues Driver and occasionally a crybaby
So would I do the same with a amp to get a good tone
