In future when devices consume nearly no power it will be a thing cause theres too much loss in transmitting energy over distance. But there are devices where a long range energy transmission will never (or for long time) not work. A scooter or bike batterie...

Mark missed on this one. They will not be leapfrogged when in fact they are the frog. These mega big companies like Apple and Samsung have struggled making wireless charging become mainstream. They have released terrible wireless products, all while customers are looking for exactly this. Not only that, but I am confident that these guys are just getting started and will only improve the wireless tech space further.
In 2022 they announced that they were partnering with Tesla for a new line of wireless chargers, simply called the Wireless Charging Platform. They are doing very well!
