I didn't. I knew she was a bitch from when she tore into the girl who created "Wanna date?" accusing her of being a spoiled brat who had everything handed to her. She even said the girl was going to fail because she didn't HAVE to make it, her back wasn't against the wall. Barbara did it only because the girl wasn't going to go homeless if her business failed. The girl made it clear she worked hard and didn't have anything handed to her. Also Mark gave Barbara the best comeback in my opinion, in such a subtle manner. But the real market is consumers who want shelves on their floor to ceiling windows, or in their bathrooms, etc. And for that market it needs to be under 100.
All else being equal I would probably take the offer from Lori. People severely underestimate how much difference a highly motivated business partner will make. If she is equal partner she will want to put down the effort. It's a 10% difference in ownership for a 50% increase of motivation from the person that will most likely pull the largest weight.

Thats about right in pricing. Even looking at Ikea as a budget option, it was $350 entry point, $600 for more space and electric. Yes you can get a crap $200 desk from Amazon which I did, but then I needed to buy $200 tabletop as well.

Never heard of having tendonitis aka RSI from sitting in any office job before (below the waist), so gotta wonder what Mike was doing at his desk lol. They would do better to market them as a temporary desk/shelf imo since a normal desk also contains draws and a larger top area to include paperwork, phones, stationery, 2nd monitor etc in a normal office job. Plus no office worker wants to stand for the whole day and there are already height adjustable desks that cost about the same price where you don't have to take the contents off when raising/lowering it. Sadly Barbara didn't take into consideration of what people put on their desks when she designed her offices which was her own fault that it didn't work how she envisioned.

I disagree with Barbara. It was her choice to spend copious amounts of money decorating her office. It's ridiculous to not allow your employees to put family photos, and other trinkets up, to make their workspace more personal. It gives your employees comfort.
I think they need to market them not as just desks, but as shelves too. Just for EASE OF INSTALL alone, I would want one for my shower. If I could get it for under $150, I'd definitely splurge and get it. Just to put all the shampoo/conditioner/stuff on.

They would do better to market them as a temporary desk/shelf imo since a normal desk also contains draws and a larger top area to include paperwork, phones, stationery, 2nd monitor etc in a normal office job. Plus no office worker wants to stand for the whole day and there are already height adjustable desks that cost about the same price where you don't have to take the contents off when raising/lowering it.
Sadly Barbara didn't take into consideration of what people put on their desks when she designed her offices which was her own fault that it didn't work how she envisioned.
Watch the episode of say yes to the dress with barbara in it. The bride was absolutely stunning. All of barbara comments reeked of jealous old woman who covers her b behavior with I am just joking. Not a fan after seeing how she treated that young woman.
I agree with Lori, they are comparing prices with standing desks but they are 15% of a desk. I would still buy a decent desk for 700$ rather than this lol

They said this would replace desks in the office.... So only the people at the perimeter of the office can use this, and everyone not on the perimeter would still need regular or expensive sit stand desk. This was just one thing i thought of that i was surprised they didnt bring up on the show, lets not even forget a bunch of other reasons this is a bad product that has been brought up like the small size
If they could add a track to this thing with 2 sets on top of each other, and the desk be able to transition up and down for standing and seating, that would be sick.
This is a nice compliment to a sitting desk, the use case sends obvious to me

I disagree with Barbara. It was her choice to spend copious amounts of money decorating her office. It's ridiculous to not allow your employees to put family photos, and other trinkets up, to make their workspace more personal. It gives your employees comfort.
I think they should counter it with 300k for both of them with 15% each. They got both shark & resources.

I think they need to market them not as just desks, but as shelves too. Just for EASE OF INSTALL alone, I would want one for my shower. If I could get it for under $150, I'd definitely splurge and get it. Just to put all the shampoo/conditioner/stuff on.
