I still can't believe how well they meshed R6 with Arknights, purely because the chimera event they had a few years back. RE seems very likely but I feel like it'd have the same dynamic with the R6 collab "earth guns are strong, new threats emerged with similar conditions of oripathy" though i feel like it'd do a much better job then R6 since they already had a preestablished threat, I would rather have darkstalkers (an introduction of characters more beastly in contrast with the humans) MH (exploration if wildlife) or DMC (exploration of the mysteries if arknights lore)

I think it may be Resident Evil Series since it's more likely and the most plausible to happened because of how similar both of the games have with the deep lore and world. DMC would be nice aswell!!
Wonder though, what if it's RE. Instead of them got transported to Terra, what IF we're the one who instead got sent to Earth? Our operators decided to join forces with the RE squad, fighting and tracing enemies in shadows while admiring the fact that this world is completely free from Oripathy but was horrified to heard and witness about mutagen that transform people into god-forsaken abomination? Plus, we also got to experience other-world ammunition, gunpowder and all. Arts was rather a sorcery, and quite small.
I think RE is the most likely. Largely because RE4 is on the way so Arknights is an easy to promote that while series like DMC and MH(I guess there's that Rise expansion) haven't had new games in a while. SF6 on the other hand seems a bit too far away unless the Capcom collab is not until late 2023 or something. I think the only thing that might make them not go with RE is that RE characters are mighty vanilla by modern Arknights standards. Aside from like Wesker and Nemesis, most of the big name RE characters are just normal people with normal guns which was a lot Arknights characters in the early days but not so much now. These days most new Arknights character either have crazy arts abilities or crazy weapons.
DMC sounds the most hilarious, but RE sounds the most plausible because of how well the lore can mesh with each other. Kind of want Chris to be in it. His part in RE8 was a power trip, even when watching someone else play the game.
If it's RE collab, it shouldn't be from games after RE5. Hunk, RE4 Leon, OG Jill and boulder-punching Chris are far more interesting and fit into Arknights' higher average power level than RE7-8.
Tbh, I was surprised to watch the fanmade concept trailer. It's very well-made even there are some improvements to make. It's giving me goosebumps when Unnamed One goes and adventure together with Dokutah with an AR. From the trailer, I can tell Dokutah will make major screentime. I hope there is an event where Dokutah make more screentime and fight in the battlefield.
I can see Vergil as swordmaster/lord guard, Dante as a some tricky specialist with variety of gameplay, and Nero as a brawler/specialist. Inhales hopium...
This seems quite a stretch but I imagine after a long battle in hell both vergil and dante tried to go back to the human world with yamato vergil cleaved a portal but somehow they thought it only sent them to a different part of hell but it's actually somewhere in the uncharted area of terra so they keep slaughtering the demons they find like usual until they found out that they are in a different world when they finally saw a silhouette of a city in the distance. When a rhodes op in a branch office heard a rumor of two dudes who came from the feared unknown border with not a single scratch on them. Or something like that dunno. A story for how the two got to terra is somewhat easy but how the two of them ended up teaming with rhodes is difficult haha
Yea i've been thinking this too,like what do they'll see in Rhodes that gonna interested them? Surely the story here would need some kinda divine intervention (you know what i mean) or other scenario that i could only think of and also support AK lore is doctor smh beat those 2 after long battle and they just interested to what kinda thing he is or just wanna get revenge ordeal... Wich is kinda dumb but i think it's still something hehe
@@max7659 I think they can squeeze them in arknights but the two of them would be heavily involved in the late game story when all this kazdel and searborn thing is over when they finally venture to the unknown border. I feel like kal'tsit would be the person to recommend them to rhodes at somepoint maybe hiring dante to be some sort of scout to find information about outside the border. Since he is the only one along with vergil that can step in and out without any problems

The collab is 100% going to be with Resident Evil. It's just too easy to do, Resident Evil has literally everything that would be needed. Extensive lore that can easily be expanded upon within Arknights's setting for an event storyline, enemies that easily fill the necessary roster for event stages, and an ongoing cast of characters that would make for a compelling gacha banner and welfare operator. Resident Evil's setting just works with Arknights's setting too. Personal wishlist for the operators: Gacha banner 6-star - It would have to be Chris, he's like the OG protag. Gacha banner 5-stars - Jill and Claire would be my go-to here. Welfare operator - Leon, of course.
I doubt Leon would be made a welfare given how much the fandom (and Capcom, specially due to the 4th game) loves him. Let's not forget RE4 is also getting a remake.. so perhaps as a way to do advertisement. I also wonder if HG would break the costume of making the girl the limited banner unit.. I can see them placing Ada or Jill as the banner's 6*. We may as well end with a double 6* banner given how big the roster is and how important/loved most of the characters are... let's not forget that if the banner is announced to be released around Chalter's time, it means it will be planned as Global's anniversary banner, so yes, two 6* would be the defacto for that banner (just that this time both must be L2D). With that in mind I could see the 6* "summer/anniversary" roster being: a) Leon and Chris (unlikely because no waifu) b) Leon and Ada c) Leon and Claire d) Chris and Jill e) Chris and Claire If I recall correctly, all this pairings fits a game's roster..... *cries in zero chance to see steve making it to the game as a collab unit*

I think Monster Hunter would be suitable for Arknights x CAPCOM collab because i feel like if DMC collab with AK, it kinda weird considering characters in DMC is INSANELY STRONG. Also If DMC would collab with either Genshin, Honkai, PGR, or in future Arknights: Endfield, that's fine by me cause you can actually move the character and not just deploy this operator and that operator. Plus seeing Dante and Vergil just standing there waiting for enemies just to be massacred by them, it's weird considering, "why would i waiting for my enemies to come to me? You know what, it's chop time" and proceed to charge toward the enemies. RE is also ok but we already have R6 before because the outbreak theme
Ideas/wishes/ramble/idk for the stuff you showed DMC - I want to see a CG where Vergil and Carnelian both get motivated, bonus points if they somehow merge the themes of those two, or adapt one theme to fit the game of the other - Dante becomes interested in the Sankta, especially their guns after he sees Irene's pistol hit with the force of an angry autocannon shell, but maybe to also explore the Sankta even more MH - uh, maybe see Hypergryph staff get drunk and give us a near story-less event where it's just a boss rush of different monsters from MH, they all have similar game design to that big boi dragon in that one CN event - or maybe explore Sargon even more, the tribes fit, not much civilization there, people are tough there, fits MH nicely, maybe even have some dealings with the Padishahs RE - no originiutant style enemies, we don't need that one prick in the R6 event to show up again - tyrants? would be funny if those guys get curbstomped by some Terrans, maybe get the Jesselton treatment in the story - could they somehow cram this into Columbia? I'm just thinking of this because of the city settings of the older games. - might be amazing if we get a cameo of the R6 crew, both groups investigating a way to get back to their own realities, maybe even starting a storyline for the collab characters, seeing them progress in future collabs (might end up blue balling us though, doubt they can get that many collabs) On a separate note, I want to see an AK x Nier Automata collab now because I saw the one with PGR from the start of the vid. Imagine brand new AK tracks that can fit perfectly into Nier Automata, maybe a story where both casts explore what it means to be human, CGs that show some beautiful environments. Why do I feel like they'd be good for a Kazdel story? Also imagine Rhodes Island engineers discovering the Androids, goodbye Lancet, hello A2. Would Adam and Eve find the Sankta interesting? Maybe we can explore the Aegir even more here, maybe with Doc and the crew joining up to let us see more of the Aegir and their tech because the Pods detected them or something. Another gigantic boss ala Grun (or the big guy in the ocean in Nier)? >maybe a story where both casts explore what it means to be human...hmm Doctor?
@@khiemnguyen7929 I don't think so, according to the wiki it looks like they're in the clean-up stages before Replicant, and that's a good 7-8k years before Automata. Also no mentions of stuff like the Legions, it's probably long gone by then. Besides, it's not like the R6 crew brought terrorists and chemical weaponry with them.
If they're going to collab with Devil May Cry, I would assume Dante's skill will be like Mr. Nothing. A very versatile OP. And then I think that Arknights will be played on the Gura's stream if they're going to collab with DMC.
I'm all in for DMC I'd like to imagine Wacky Wahoo Pizza man and Deadweight gets teleported to Terra Plus I think the story can blend in with Arknights' pretty well, maybe with devils lurking around Terra, Dante and Nero help out Rhodes Island. We might even get to use Nero or Dante with their Devil Trigger as different skills.
Resident evil makes the most sense to me. Zombies/Mutations in mass for enemies, plenty of choice selections for gacha. Personally, I'd LOVE to see a monster hunter collab though. Not only for what it would bring to arknights, but what it could bring to monster hunter, as monster hunter collabs have often been two-way streets and I'd love to see arknights represented in monster hunter. The only hope I have on this concept is the recent success of Monster Hunter... It would kill my wallet though lol.
Personally, what came to my mind was Darkstalkers. Plenty of characters in that game would fit with the various races on Terra, and could have lent themselves pretty well to a Sarkaz-oriented storyline.
For DMC: We meet new variant of.... "Sarkaz", more human and hybrid (which is Dante, Nero and Vergil) For Monster Hunter: I assume that Rhodes Island has a task at Sargon once again. But encounter many monster that they never seen before. While Resident Evil is all about Infected against Infected.. We've face this before. So the thing is: -All these 3, we might wonder on how they meet with other characters, new mechanics in battlefield, new enemies, and the stories goes on..
A part of me wanted to see AK with RE because of how interesting the story would be, but another part of me wanted to see AK collab with DMC because Dante and Vergil would look absolutely badass as an operator. I doubt RE collab would bring anything new to AK gameplay-wise since we had a similar type of event with R6.
The thing about DMC is that Dante's skills, weapons, and abilities are too varied to neatly fit him into any operator niche without also feeling like you nerfed him. I really don't think DMC will work as much as everyone thinks. Good idea on paper, but only as something to dream about. MH might work, but IMO, RE would simply work that much better.
I dunno, I think Dante as a Lord-class Guard could work very well. The class itself is already pretty versatile, and Dante in particular could utilize the weapons and abilities that make him so varied in his skills, or since he usually winds up putting them away between games anyways he could just stick with his classic Ebony/Ivory/Rebellion setup and use his different styles for that variety instead. Like, just right now I can think of a setup where his two talents would be based on the Trickster and Royal Guard styles (where trickster would give him a dodge chance and Royal Guard would give him damage reflection), two of his Skills would be based off his Gunslinger and Swordmaster styles (where gunslinger could be either a passive or a permanent skill that boosts his effectiveness against ranged foes while swordmaster could be a stance skill that more or less turns him into a centurion guard while active), and his S3 being (Sin?) Devil Trigger which would be on par with Truesilver Slash and Destreza in terms of sheer power. That seems like a fairly well-represented Dante to me.
I mean, you can say the same thing about Dante being in any collab. But he was in MvC, SMT, Puzzles and Dragons, MH, etc. The fact is, they don't have to fit ALL his weapons/styles/powers into a Dante operator. And Dante's not the only character that would have that problem. The RE cast for example normally carry a bunch of weapons. Leon limited to just one gun wouldn't be very lore accurate either.
out of all option i think MH is likely going to be the one that get the collab event here is my reason DMC: lore wise, Dante and Vergil is ABSURDLY POWERFUL. Vergil can cut through dimension with immense speed to boot(so fast the can stop time when unleash Judgement Cut End) and Dante can goes toe-to-toe with Vergil. and allegedly, Dante has been destroyed a universe created by Mundus in DMC novel(i don't know if this feat is real, but i did see it getting thrown around in DMC power scaling discussion so might as well mentioned it). i don't know how would you write a story in Arknight universe for these two whacky brother unless you write it for "hey look Vergil ain't that whacky looking thing over there" RE: i agree with you that it is the most likely because of similar theme, but they already did that with R6 collab i don't think doing collab with similar theme to the previous one is a good idea. so that leave with Monster Hunter, not to mentioned in MHW Geralt was there because he opened up a portal and open up in MHW. so might be possible for another portal to open up and the nameless hunter with various armor set will go into the portal just to explore stuff

@@abdulgaffar4937 dusk is probably same case as Mundus(the previous demon king), and that was Dante during DMC1 which is considerably way weaker than his current state after DMC5.
I'm definitely sure it's gonna be DMC5 the characters are very suitable in Terra and also their skills as a operator, just imagining vergil as a 6 star he's going to be a op guard let alone with the yamatos skill 3. I CANT WAIT AHHH
Most likely its Devil May Cry since Arknights need to base on the skill signature of the character, and DMC already have them. A little chance for Monster Hunter because we already have big bosses in Arknights and MH is definitely fit in story, for those newbie, MH has a big lore too, its not just 'kill that monster then kill again' genre. And every type of weapon have combo that can fit to use as a skills. For Resident Evil, I don't know, its your typical human using a gun killing zombies if we don't include their backstory, Devs will have a hard time thinking about the skills to use but story is rich too if Arknights wants to include zombies in Terra

There's actually a really well done video here on YT from a year back, if you search up 'Arknights Shadowbringers Collab PV' - might be a pipe dream but it was well done enough that I would seriously enjoy seeing them appear.
the only worrying thing about DMC collab imo is underrepresenting the characters, since they all have some crazy super sexy stylish moves in the original game, while in arknights, attack animations are... looped animations. that and the choice of weapons Dante, Vergil, and Nero have, and Dante's 4 styles edit: though imagine them immediately implementing modules for the DMC characters on release to replicate DMC's choice of weapons kekw
Of all the options you mentioned I would love a RE collab the most But Monster Hunter seems the most possible. Like they don't need in universe characters as operators since AK could just make completely original ones for the collab just themed with MH style.
I'm really excited for this, specially if the collab ends up being with Devil May Cry I can't stress enough how lovely it would be to have Dante messing around on the battlefield in any way he can Tho I hope at the very least they keep what they did for R6S (In terms of the banner) Having more than 1 6* to pull surely will be bad for those unlucky fuckers... like me, who got Ash as the guaranteed 120th pull
I think DMC is the best prospect. Dante regularly goes to different dimensions of the demon realm so its pre-established for dimensional travel. Sarkaz are devils so I can see Dante initially trying to hunt them. Resident evil is certainly viable, has more in line with arknights then the R6 universe.
I'd love it if it turns out to be RE. We already have our own Merchant here (Cannot Goodenough), and it'd be hilarious to see them interact with each other.
I like RE and the collab theme make sense but all of the main characters pretty much wield guns so it’s kind of boring. On the other hand DmC and MH got various weapons and movesets so it’s gonna be interesting seeing them implemented in AK.
For DMC, I think Dante just playing around like usual and accidentally slashing through the void, cut the dimensional barrier thus create portal that leading to Terra

Capcom added "Thorns" to Monster Hunter though, may it be a hint? Edit: Actually "Espinas" (Thorns in spanish) which is probably an even bigger hint if you think about it. Still, I think DMC would be the coolest by far.
I personally think that the next collab gonna be devil may cry and instead of having vergil as a playable operator he's gonna be the boss maybe and we're gonna get only dante as a 6* and 3 5* (the same way we got ash and the three 5* for the r6 collab)

Man, i'd really hope that Ak gonna collab with DmC. I know, it's a risky and difficult one to come by, simply because the DmC power-scalling is absurd. Both Dante and Vergil they're OP as heck! We're talking about sons of primordial demon here! Those boi rivalry (* & battle)will worsen the situations in Terra by a landslide. my other favorite gacha dragalia lost had a collab with monster hunter, and instead of adding characters from MH, it instead made the units "hunter" versions of previous units. for example, a "hunter" alter, say of siege using a greatsword and being a guard, or an "alter" of tsukinogi using an insect glaive. giving weapons and armor from monster hunter to arknights operator may be the way to go, instead of trying to add hunters from previous games. the event would be fun as a boss rush, with each stage having only one boss and a handful of summons.
persona 5 collab would be weird but cool at the same time joker - Specialist skull - guard noir - aoe queen - sniper idk maybe joker would just be a guard with a persona drone skill or speicalist that summon a persona to attack for abit
I cannot wait for whatever Capcom Collab they'll do, either with DMC, MH, or RE I'll support HG to the fullest (yes, I'll whale for collaboration characters) • I can imagine how awesome Leon or Ada with their weapons and kill all the new enemies HG introduce • or how hunters dragged with RI to help them hunting monsters and discover the unknown of Terra • I cannot scale for how much the hype I will get if DMC is the one get the collab. I want to hunt monsters in Arknights. Granted, I am very biased towards MH as a whole. That being said, I'm open to both RE and DMC also as those franchises could be readily meshed into the world of Terra. We just _might_ even get multiple Collabs with the different franchises. Cheers!
What if it's mixed Capcom franchises? If it's a big collab, maybe they will have two special banners for it. Let's say there will be 8 characters. My guesses are: Ryu = brawler Morrigan = hexer supporter or dps healer? Chris = boomstick sniper maybe Dante = lord type that does arts dmg Megaman = sniper Monster Hunter = can be many classes but collab needs a defender so there's that. And two more characters that might be in the same game as any of the ones above. Probably the free operators.
I feel like DMC would fit better in an Arknights setting, Dante= Lord or Dreadnought, Trisch= Caster/Sniper, Lady=Artilleryman, Nero= Hookmaster and Vergil= Executor or Musha. Or indeed Monster hunter with the monsters as operators.
I REALLY hope they make a collab with Yakuza series with a real storyline like they did in R6S collab. Imagine 6stars guard Kiryu, or 6 star specialist Majima, 6 star defender Saejima.
I might be the only one wanting MH collab for the Palicos... 😂 There are regular cats in AK, so why not have a bipedal, highly intelligent cats who can cook, hunt and kick some monsters' ass to be included as well? Must be fun!
Highly unlikely, but I think we could get characters from multiple games for the collab, since they just said the collab will be with Capcom and not any particular IP.
after learning about the Capcom collab during the anniversary stream, I researched a bit and thought about these 3 exact games to be suitable for the collaboration BUT I JUST WANT DMC TO COLLAB!!!!
I think Resident Evil might be the least likely of the three even though it probably makes the most sense. Mostly because I think Resident Evil is already doing a collab with Dead By Deadlight. I mean it is still quite possible for them to do multiple collabs.
I can personally see DMC 5 being the most likely candidate for a collab, cause the characters are kinda easy to make a skill kit around with due to their notable character features. My concern with MH is that they lack any iconic characters, so its either existing ops but as MH alters, or original characters based on certain weapon styles. As for RE, while they have the infection theme going, my concern is that it's gonna be too similar to R6, meaning it's gonna be just another gun based banner, making it kinda redundant, plus not to mention making kits for like Leon or Chris for example would be tricky because unlike R6, they lack any unique special abilities aside from being combat experts in both cqc and firearms.
I just wanna say, the concept of arknight characters getting suited up in monster hunter gear has me weirdly hyped. Didn't even consider that until your comment. Thank you lol.

I think it may be Resident Evil Series since it's more likely and the most plausible to happened because of how similar both of the games have with the deep lore and world. DMC would be nice aswell!!

I think RE is the most likely. Largely because RE4 is on the way so Arknights is an easy to promote that while series like DMC and MH(I guess there's that Rise expansion) haven't had new games in a while. SF6 on the other hand seems a bit too far away unless the Capcom collab is not until late 2023 or something. I think the only thing that might make them not go with RE is that RE characters are mighty vanilla by modern Arknights standards. Aside from like Wesker and Nemesis, most of the big name RE characters are just normal people with normal guns which was a lot Arknights characters in the early days but not so much now. These days most new Arknights character either have crazy arts abilities or crazy weapons.

Tbh, I was surprised to watch the fanmade concept trailer. It's very well-made even there are some improvements to make. It's giving me goosebumps when Unnamed One goes and adventure together with Dokutah with an AR. From the trailer, I can tell Dokutah will make major screentime. I hope there is an event where Dokutah make more screentime and fight in the battlefield.
I can see Vergil as swordmaster/lord guard, Dante as a some tricky specialist with variety of gameplay, and Nero as a brawler/specialist.

This seems quite a stretch but I imagine after a long battle in hell both vergil and dante tried to go back to the human world with yamato vergil cleaved a portal but somehow they thought it only sent them to a different part of hell but it's actually somewhere in the uncharted area of terra so they keep slaughtering the demons they find like usual until they found out that they are in a different world when they finally saw a silhouette of a city in the distance. When a rhodes op in a branch office heard a rumor of two dudes who came from the feared unknown border with not a single scratch on them. Or something like that dunno. A story for how the two got to terra is somewhat easy but how the two of them ended up teaming with rhodes is difficult haha

I feel like kal'tsit would be the person to recommend them to rhodes at somepoint maybe hiring dante to be some sort of scout to find information about outside the border. Since he is the only one along with vergil that can step in and out without any problems

The collab is 100% going to be with Resident Evil. It's just too easy to do, Resident Evil has literally everything that would be needed. Extensive lore that can easily be expanded upon within Arknights's setting for an event storyline, enemies that easily fill the necessary roster for event stages, and an ongoing cast of characters that would make for a compelling gacha banner and welfare operator. Resident Evil's setting just works with Arknights's setting too.
Personal wishlist for the operators:
Gacha banner 6-star - It would have to be Chris, he's like the OG protag.
Gacha banner 5-stars - Jill and Claire would be my go-to here.
Welfare operator - Leon, of course.
I doubt Leon would be made a welfare given how much the fandom (and Capcom, specially due to the 4th game) loves him. Let's not forget RE4 is also getting a remake.. so perhaps as a way to do advertisement.
I also wonder if HG would break the costume of making the girl the limited banner unit.. I can see them placing Ada or Jill as the banner's 6*.
We may as well end with a double 6* banner given how big the roster is and how important/loved most of the characters are... let's not forget that if the banner is announced to be released around Chalter's time, it means it will be planned as Global's anniversary banner, so yes, two 6* would be the defacto for that banner (just that this time both must be L2D).
With that in mind I could see the 6* "summer/anniversary" roster being:
a) Leon and Chris (unlikely because no waifu)

I think Monster Hunter would be suitable for Arknights x CAPCOM collab because i feel like if DMC collab with AK, it kinda weird considering characters in DMC is INSANELY STRONG. Also If DMC would collab with either Genshin, Honkai, PGR, or in future Arknights: Endfield, that's fine by me cause you can actually move the character and not just deploy this operator and that operator. Plus seeing Dante and Vergil just standing there waiting for enemies just to be massacred by them, it's weird considering, "why would i waiting for my enemies to come to me? You know what, it's chop time" and proceed to charge toward the enemies.
RE is also ok but we already have R6 before because the outbreak theme

MH - uh, maybe see Hypergryph staff get drunk and give us a near story-less event where it's just a boss rush of different monsters from MH, they all have similar game design to that big boi dragon in that one CN event
- or maybe explore Sargon even more, the tribes fit, not much civilization there, people are tough there, fits MH nicely, maybe even have some dealings with the Padishahs
RE - no originiutant style enemies, we don't need that one prick in the R6 event to show up again
- tyrants? would be funny if those guys get curbstomped by some Terrans, maybe get the Jesselton treatment in the story

On a separate note, I want to see an AK x Nier Automata collab now because I saw the one with PGR from the start of the vid. Imagine brand new AK tracks that can fit perfectly into Nier Automata, maybe a story where both casts explore what it means to be human, CGs that show some beautiful environments. Why do I feel like they'd be good for a Kazdel story? Also imagine Rhodes Island engineers discovering the Androids, goodbye Lancet, hello A2. Would Adam and Eve find the Sankta interesting? Maybe we can explore the Aegir even more here, maybe with Doc and the crew joining up to let us see more of the Aegir and their tech because the Pods detected them or something. Another gigantic boss ala Grun (or the big guy in the ocean in Nier)?

Personally, I'd LOVE to see a monster hunter collab though. Not only for what it would bring to arknights, but what it could bring to monster hunter, as monster hunter collabs have often been two-way streets and I'd love to see arknights represented in monster hunter. The only hope I have on this concept is the recent success of Monster Hunter... It would kill my wallet though lol.
Personally, what came to my mind was Darkstalkers. Plenty of characters in that game would fit with the various races on Terra, and could have lent themselves pretty well to a Sarkaz-oriented storyline.

A part of me wanted to see AK with RE because of how interesting the story would be, but another part of me wanted to see AK collab with DMC because Dante and Vergil would look absolutely badass as an operator. I doubt RE collab would bring anything new to AK gameplay-wise since we had a similar type of event with R6.
The thing about DMC is that Dante's skills, weapons, and abilities are too varied to neatly fit him into any operator niche without also feeling like you nerfed him. I really don't think DMC will work as much as everyone thinks. Good idea on paper, but only as something to dream about.
MH might work, but IMO, RE would simply work that much better.
I dunno, I think Dante as a Lord-class Guard could work very well. The class itself is already pretty versatile, and Dante in particular could utilize the weapons and abilities that make him so varied in his skills, or since he usually winds up putting them away between games anyways he could just stick with his classic Ebony/Ivory/Rebellion setup and use his different styles for that variety instead. Like, just right now I can think of a setup where his two talents would be based on the Trickster and Royal Guard styles (where trickster would give him a dodge chance and Royal Guard would give him damage reflection), two of his Skills would be based off his Gunslinger and Swordmaster styles (where gunslinger could be either a passive or a permanent skill that boosts his effectiveness against ranged foes while swordmaster could be a stance skill that more or less turns him into a centurion guard while active), and his S3 being (Sin?) Devil Trigger which would be on par with Truesilver Slash and Destreza in terms of sheer power. That seems like a fairly well-represented Dante to me.
I mean, you can say the same thing about Dante being in any collab. But he was in MvC, SMT, Puzzles and Dragons, MH, etc. The fact is, they don't have to fit ALL his weapons/styles/powers into a Dante operator. And Dante's not the only character that would have that problem. The RE cast for example normally carry a bunch of weapons. Leon limited to just one gun wouldn't be very lore accurate either.

DMC: lore wise, Dante and Vergil is ABSURDLY POWERFUL. Vergil can cut through dimension with immense speed to boot(so fast the can stop time when unleash Judgement Cut End) and Dante can goes toe-to-toe with Vergil. and allegedly, Dante has been destroyed a universe created by Mundus in DMC novel(i don't know if this feat is real, but i did see it getting thrown around in DMC power scaling discussion so might as well mentioned it). i don't know how would you write a story in Arknight universe for these two whacky brother unless you write it for "hey look Vergil ain't that whacky looking thing over there"
RE: i agree with you that it is the most likely because of similar theme, but they already did that with R6 collab i don't think doing collab with similar theme to the previous one is a good idea.

In Arknights we do have stronger characters who are strong as hell. Like a painter who can paint a new reality or a fallen sankta who can stop time.
Lorewise, JCE doesn't have a startup and he can unleash it anytime that he wants.

Most likely its Devil May Cry since Arknights need to base on the skill signature of the character, and DMC already have them.
A little chance for Monster Hunter because we already have big bosses in Arknights and MH is definitely fit in story, for those newbie, MH has a big lore too, its not just 'kill that monster then kill again' genre. And every type of weapon have combo that can fit to use as a skills.
For Resident Evil, I don't know, its your typical human using a gun killing zombies if we don't include their backstory, Devs will have a hard time thinking about the skills to use but story is rich too if Arknights wants to include zombies in Terra

the only worrying thing about DMC collab imo is underrepresenting the characters, since they all have some crazy super sexy stylish moves in the original game, while in arknights, attack animations are... looped animations. that and the choice of weapons Dante, Vergil, and Nero have, and Dante's 4 styles

I think DMC is the best prospect. Dante regularly goes to different dimensions of the demon realm so its pre-established for dimensional travel. Sarkaz are devils so I can see Dante initially trying to hunt them. Resident evil is certainly viable, has more in line with arknights then the R6 universe.
Dante will definitely NOT gonna hunts the Sarkaz race for fun as long they have human hearts.

I like RE and the collab theme make sense but all of the main characters pretty much wield guns so it’s kind of boring.

my other favorite gacha dragalia lost had a collab with monster hunter, and instead of adding characters from MH, it instead made the units "hunter" versions of previous units.
for example, a "hunter" alter, say of siege using a greatsword and being a guard, or an "alter" of tsukinogi using an insect glaive.
giving weapons and armor from monster hunter to arknights operator may be the way to go, instead of trying to add hunters from previous games.
the event would be fun as a boss rush, with each stage having only one boss and a handful of summons.

Let's say there will be 8 characters. My guesses are:
Ryu = brawler
Morrigan = hexer supporter or dps healer?
Chris = boomstick sniper maybe
Dante = lord type that does arts dmg
Megaman = sniper
Monster Hunter = can be many classes but collab needs a defender so there's that.
And two more characters that might be in the same game as any of the ones above. Probably the free operators.

I might be the only one wanting MH collab for the Palicos... 😂 There are regular cats in AK, so why not have a bipedal, highly intelligent cats who can cook, hunt and kick some monsters' ass to be included as well? Must be fun!

Highly unlikely, but I think we could get characters from multiple games for the collab, since they just said the collab will be with Capcom and not any particular IP.

I wouldn't mind if it's a bunch of new guards or snipers if the collab is DmC or RE, but i hope they mix it up and in a good way
I think Resident Evil might be the least likely of the three even though it probably makes the most sense. Mostly because I think Resident Evil is already doing a collab with Dead By Deadlight. I mean it is still quite possible for them to do multiple collabs.
I can personally see DMC 5 being the most likely candidate for a collab, cause the characters are kinda easy to make a skill kit around with due to their notable character features. My concern with MH is that they lack any iconic characters, so its either existing ops but as MH alters, or original characters based on certain weapon styles. As for RE, while they have the infection theme going, my concern is that it's gonna be too similar to R6, meaning it's gonna be just another gun based banner, making it kinda redundant, plus not to mention making kits for like Leon or Chris for example would be tricky because unlike R6, they lack any unique special abilities aside from being combat experts in both cqc and firearms.
I just wanna say, the concept of arknight characters getting suited up in monster hunter gear has me weirdly hyped. Didn't even consider that until your comment. Thank you lol.
