“ I was working on the back because I thought it needed to be prettier. And our customers deserve to have nice-looking knives.“ God, it’s so nice to see an American company delivering an excellent product and great service.
That's one of, if not the, most impressive warranties I've ever heard of. If Bark River made spoons, I'd probably buy one because of that warranty. Amazing.
I just ordered my first Bark River and I'm glad I did! It's my first high end knife and this warranty really shows how important the companies product is to them. I can't wait to get my Bravo 1.25!
Impressive! I am BR for life.Wont use ANY other brand. After using my first BR with amazing convex and best HT in the bizz...I was an instant convert. I assumed the son ( and funny guy on camera) was just in the office. He has skills like pops , thats great. Sent my Mini Aurora 3v in for some mods. Should be back any day now. Cant wait !
When I sent in my northstar to get a handle scale fixed, and it came back with a less than "factory standard" finish. The liner and the scale are not finished quite even. So it is not always as they would like to make it. That said, I own three bark river knives, and they work very well.
Impressive, You pay for what you get. I bought the Little Canadian and loved it so much I had to get the Drop Point Hunter. Now I am looking for my next knife.
I own a old BlackJack Ananconda II Bowie with a nightmare convex edge did im still covered by the bark river warranty and are you able to give original edge to it ?
I got my knife but the edge could not pop a single hair, also a chip of wood fell off the handle. I hear good things but my first impression was not what I expected.
Derrick Bohn - would you say that desert ironwood burl might be the most stable, durable wood handle? - if not, can you voice an opinion on which wood might be?
No, the guys at BRKT never let the knives stay on the grinder for to long so that they don’t overheat. 15 seconds on the grinder, check and cool the blade, repeat, that’s the process
@@justincase4382 lol what's the "spec"? As long as the leather doesn't fall off it's A-ok?🤣 Would have been better to keep the gouge but the customer probably received it like that and expected a better finish.

Hats off to Bark River for being awesome.

Currently saving up for my first ever Bark River. You guys are the best in the business
Did you ever get it?
Buy a fallkniven
Best knife I've ever owned is a Bark River Puukko . such a true knife company
EXCELLENT warranty. That is why these BARK RIVER weapons are somewhat more expensive, ... and worth every penny of their worth!
Oscar
When they start making folders I am buying one. No brainer.
They can't keep up with sales for fixed blade. Have you ever went thru how many different models they have? Its remarkable

Best knives best warranty. Best company.
I currently have a knife in for repair. They have been great!

It's true. I've got one there now that for some reason was 1/16" thicker than spec. Messaged Mike, no problem we will fix it.
Bark River, worth every penny. Best knives in the WORLD.
And that's one of the reasons I buy from Bark River. Also, they are great knives!

Best in the business ! Maybe a bit too generous in some cases, but great warranty.
Best warranty in the world.

I am curious about where the blades are produced.
Good video.

Very nice! Does it matter where you buy the knife? Are receipts or anything required for BRK to honor the warrany?
Nope... just send it in.
I got my knife but the edge could not pop a single hair, also a chip of wood fell off the handle. I hear good things but my first impression was not what I expected.
Wow, I'm having one of these
What is average turn around time for basic resharpening and possible touch up ?
I really want to buy a knife from bark river now!
Best knives I own
Are their wood handles stabilized?
+birddog1220 Most of them. Some handle materials cannot be stabilized (like Desert Ironwood and Ebony)
Derrick Bohn - would you say that desert ironwood burl might be the most stable, durable wood handle? - if not, can you voice an opinion on which wood might be?
i have a chip in may BR bravo 2, can i tray to grinde it my self and tray to fix it may self, before i send it in?
+joiki joika You can do either.
I lost my receipt for my bark river grizzly, is my warranty still good?
Yes
They warranty every knife they've ever made even Blackjacks made in Effingham Illinois best knife company ever .
I once dropped ny boss's car key down an elevator shaft. Awkward. I don't work there anymore....
Magnet and fishing pole.
wouldn't a high speed wheel ruin the heat treat??
No, the guys at BRKT never let the knives stay on the grinder for to long so that they don’t overheat. 15 seconds on the grinder, check and cool the blade, repeat, that’s the process
Yes, and this caused a controversy
He just grinds and take the remaining material off. Thinning the handle.
But it’s sill “within spec”

🙌👍👌
Rest In Peace
Guys I sent my cracked knife to you 2 months ago and you even didn’t answer.
You get it back? After reading about Mike's shady past, I'd be worried they just keep it.
So this is the video that made cliff stamp lose his mind at the shit you guys do to knives
