I was looking at this and I was thinking about something: This guy had cancer and was like 80, So considering that, the treasure is probably hidden somewhere REALLY easy to get to for a young person, but pretty hard for an old person? So what if the canyon was like a pit or two big rocks with a little stream or something like that in betweens the rocks? Basicly it could be in his back yard or something.

Just wanted to say thanks for Ear Biscuits. I am loving each episode. I work at the Halloween Haunt at Knotts and have to drive back home at 2 - 3 in the morning super tired, but listening to those interviews keeps me awake and alert enough to make it safely. Keep it up. Can't wait to hear more. :)

Honestly if I ever found the treasure I would check with the guy first because for me it would feel like stealing if I didn't give him the opportunity to have it back. Just my perspective and for those of you who don't share my opinion I have no ill will towards you and think no less of you than any other person (if you use links idea to get it I will though XD)

Treasure Hunt! Great family vacation idea!
Go down a canyon until you reach something named Brown, most likely a lake. Could also be a beaver dam. There's a river/creek running out of the lake (put in below the house of Brown). The next part mentions going up the creek, so there's most likely another creek that runs into the first creek, which you need to turn into. However, you'll have to portage along it (there'll be no paddle up your creek, just heavy loads and water high) until you find a blaze (a cut or mark) in a tree.
I'm kinda surprised no one has found it yet! And that no one has threatened that guy's life! :O
