- Our long and incredibly slow journey around the UK in a very small boat continues. This bumper episode starts with some much needed upgrades to the 4m Searider by way of a new cover and electronics. Eddy joins the crew as we leave Paignton for Dartmouth and a stop for the weekend at Kingswear castle. For a few days we lived like kings. www.landmarktrust.org.uk/sear...
After fish and chips up river at the Ferry Boat Inn we head out to sea with Ross in a 600hp Ribeye rib (a PRIME NINE41 9.5m monster) for some thrills before taking a turn around the factory: www.ribeye.co.uk
We take in Agatha Christies home and her favourite hotspot, the Burgh Island Hotel before arriving in Plymouth.
Big thanks to Raymarine for the new gear:

The cover is done so well!
This whole series is a masterpiece!
thanks for this serie, not cheap but smart to do the same, the idea l mean.l did paar round-trips from where l come from: Ré island, 32km lang, in France ;))
These episodes come so infrequently that the journey isn't always on the forefront of my memory. When a new episode pops up in my feed, I'm a bit confused at what it is, but then I quickly realize and devour it. These are such a treat to watch. Thanks for continuing your quest and bringing us along with you. Cheers from Seattle WA, USA.
I perfectly agree
Same.
I second this
Same with me too!
Me three!
I've just been recommended this channel - good work! Pity I didn't know you were in my home town, we could have done an AQUAHOLIC yacht tour! :D
Would love to have given you the full tour, it would have including a ride in the tender.
@@harrydwyer Awesome! :D
Harry, Nick, there’s an opportunity on the horizon, post lockdown, to increase the UK on water interest. Nick, you have the higher end covered. Harry, I’ll use the phrase “the more affordable end of the market” for you. A symbiotic relationship (there’s some 90’s management speak) could be good for you both.
And if you ever need an Instructor’s helping hand.....
Love it when my two favourite youtube channels find eachother!
missed a trick there..
You should get Aquaholic to do a tour of your boat. He does the interior, the outside, the crew quarters, and then the engine. Should take about 30 seconds! :-o
He already commented
23:28
Rib dude; "Hope you like your pistachios"
Harry; "Nuts!"
Nice.
Eddie wins best co-pilot, hands down. He's hilarious.
Top fella
Guys when you get to Falmouth give me a shout we have a pub on the helford River and there is a place to stay and some beers waiting for you 👌
Alex Towill this was filmed months ago
Hi Alex, I was thinking the Helford river would make for the perfect stop! Drop me an email if you can, i'd love to stop in.
The Ferryboat? You can’t say no to that Harry
@@TheSlowworms The Ferryboat is lovely
This is my favorite series on RUclips.
This should be a tv series. It is that good.
Ah! The journey is still on! I love how all the people around you are so cheerful! I also love how you are so quintessentially English! There's less and less of that around :-)
Yeah it's really refreshing to those hinterland accents from beardy wool wearing seamen ! :-)
I want to see england again !
Watching this is so comforting. It’s a damp but still warm sweater. I might play it a 2nd time and allow myself to fall asleep to it. And that’s not an insult. Great work x 1000
Achille Josserand you could start by using the upper case E! ffs
It’s called having lots of money. It tends to make people cheerful.
It's 1.30am and I notice a new Harry Dwyer video on my RUclips feed. Oh well, I'll sleep when I'm dead. *Presses PLAY*
Still completely bonkers to do it in a 4m rib but absolutely brilliant to watch, good work fella.
one of the most enjoyable videos i've watched in a loooong time
Just what I needed in quarantine
There cannot be any quarantine if he is doing this what country are you in.
I forgot all about this series. Fantastic EP for boring Friday afternoon.
Getting progressively more and more posh. By episode 19, you'll be having tea with the bloody queen at Balmoral
I agree. Part 4 is a cruise compared to part 1 which was an adventure. Camping out, boat anchored through the night. This are the kind of things we want to see because we do them as well. I've slept many times on my 320cm Lodestar with a 15hp Yamaha 2 Stroke anchored somewhere, sometimes rain in the middle of the night, but it was magical for me. One time my wife came along but it was only once she wanted to sleep on a 320. At that time I had to put my fuel tank on my wakeboard that I've placed over the bow to form a bridge for it. I had my had in the bow and she had hers next to the outboard, ... And I'm not the only one check out this guy:

Renting out a castle, having a joy ride on your mates $100k + boat (towed by an overpriced kitted out Discovery). Can almost guarantee nobody in this video has ever spent a day worrying about money.
I think that's a porpoise rather than a dolphin, great video
Ribeye people seemed so nice. I'll remember that name
Impressed with that cover! Fits like a glove. Makes sense to protect all the new kit fitted.
This series is such a gem. It's nice to be reminded of all the good there is in the country, especially in dark times like we're experiencing currently.
Wow Ribeye looks like an awesome company with real craftsmanship and dedicated employees! Btw, they should sponsor you with a 6m rib 😄
At last! Thank you for the entertainment!!
And as a safety tip, don't wear your inflatable lifewest under any clothes especially a strong jacket....
This channel just gets better and better. Fast becoming one of the best youtube series of all time
Agreed emz
That castle was BRILLIANT
You laugh now, you' ll suffer later :) This is what my dad told me when I was young. I remember him now! Nevertheless I am still excited seeing how you enjoy it!
Watching this just makes you smile and laugh , Harry and his mates are all as mad as March hares . Nutty English at its best
Epic journey! Props to Raymarine and the other folk for helping you out.
This is a TV quality video, great story telling. Well done.
Fantastic video - and great to see “Danmark”.... being danish😉 What your doing is absolutely bonkers, and at the same time so bloody fantastic 👍👍👍
I am enjoying watching your journey.
Safety Tip: Your lifejacket should always be worn on top of your clothing. Should never be under your jacket.
The yellow cover looks EPIC. 😀
Wow absolutely made an amazing cover for the boat are very talented talented lady
Ok, so I love motorcycles, cars, road bikes and bike races and here I am, watching a couple of guys going around the UK in a small, small speed boat. And it's amazing. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the next one!
Lovely to see little Goodwin on her merry travels again. Fair winds and following seas to all who sail in her.
A lovely adventure. Also appreciate the fine job you’ve done with the audio engineering on your films. Makes a good story even more enjoyable.
Just what you need on another quarantined Friday night with a bottle of red .Top Draw viewing
Just brilliant, well done lads, just what we need - a couple of lunatics actually doing what the rest of us only dream of!!!
Wonderful stuff in this episode and a brilliant idea in the first place.
I was born in Paignton, but left over 40 years ago. It's hardly changed!
I felt more than a pang or two of nostalgia on seeing some very familiar landmarks.
The humour and warmth of Harry and his fellow sailors (RIBers?), along with the great filming, editing and music all add up to something quite joyful.
God bless you all!!🙏
IMpressed with RiBeYe , great to see young guns on top of their game........
This really is a cracking series mate, wait until you get up to Scotland! You’ll be a tad bouncier round the north west coast 😅😂. Go Goodwin!
In choppy water you should tilt the engine to rise the bow of the boat. That will help with water pouring inside.
Just brilliant Harry. Really cinematic and the edit was tight as. I could see you doing some travel presenting in the future.
The cover and new instruments look great. It was brave going that fast travelling up to Dittisham! During my childhood and teen years the Harbour Master used to love chasing down ‘speedsters’ and giving them a piece of his mind 😋
Alex Tegg - been chased a few times for exceeding 5 knots - by a fair margin...
Gay cha We mostly used to get told off messing about in inflatable tenders with 2 or 3hp motors if we managed to get them planing! Always just got a stern talking to, so I have no idea if there’s actually a fine for speeding on the Dart.
Alex Tegg - I grew up in Brixham. My folks used to go water skiing on the Dart ar greenway on Boxing Day, back in the 60s when I was in carry cot. Pre speed limits of course.
that Ribeye boat is one those things where you just see it and want it whatever the price. Really nice of them to give you a go on it too!
Excellent, could have watched that for hours.
Somehow this slipped my notice for a few weeks. Love the series. Eddy is my favorite copilot to date.
Same here! Then today I remembered this existed and checked for a new episode!
Now that's a nice trip.
Finally the next episode! Thanks! And stay safe!
One of the best RUclips series.
Yes I'm addicted to your videos.... ..
All the way from the great State of Jefferson.
Jeff
I've just binge watched ALL these again including the original boat building series ... much epic-ness :)
Thanks again for this amazing video, Harry! Greetings from the Netherlands! Keep up the work!
TRIM THE ENGINE UP!! raises the bow out the waves 🌊👍👍
Seems like only a matter of time until you'll get unlucky and face awful rain. Might be a good idea to create a canopy, enclosed at the front and possibly down the sides, attached around the arch at the back.
Yep
Wow, We thank you for next installment. During lockdown. Your boat cover is as good as mine, acriylan is so good. I keep wondering how much more you can add to boat😱 The history added is GREAT, love the Castle! Please keep going. Pat Gil. Corpus Christi, Texas
Amen sir... and the waiting starts.
I do not think there is any lockdown where he is.
@@xvdd1 Was it filmed pre-covid?
oh my crumply crumpets!
An actual Renault Avantime?!
Aslak Zissou: Style personified.
Let’s not go on about the reliability or electrical gremlins though...
Male, 37, here. Never owned a car. No particular interest. But I did like the look of that one.
The doors seemed quite long I thought it would be a sliding one lol
A rare beast indeed!
Hideous pile of garbage, I had 1 it sucked
The best bit is the 70s snacks. Love them. Good work.
Nice Job Harry. My boy and I enjoy watching your adventures and GB history lessons. Hope you can get back in the water and post some more videos soon. Good luck on the next leg.
What a brilliant episode, a very funny double act and enthralling to watch :) greeting from Jersey
Also watching from Jersey, another Harry fan!
Renault Avantime is a rare sight. Another fabulously enjoyable episode
Love this series. The 'Dolphin' sighting was a Harbour Porpoise. Great to see!
A great adventure !! Btw - That tall ship has only one rope, and that's attached to the bell, all the rest are called sheets - halyards etc..... Thumbs up from me.
Great COVID watching while stuck at home. Thanks for these!
The new dash is a thing of beauty. Love the juxtaposition of classic lines and useful modern bits on board. Like a Morris Minor Traveller with a Tesla electric engine =;-))
I had a dodgy moustache like that circa 1984, funnily enough I was living in Plymouth at the time too.
When you said proper cover I had flashbacks of a particular proper room.
Only just stumbled across these and had a Saturday evening watching all four episodes. Absolutely fantastic, the quality of the production/edit is second to none. Deserves to be aired on national television. Can’t wait for the next episode!!!!!
Yesssss. Come back and there’s TWO new videos. Love it mate.
In your haste to get to Plymouth, you missed out one of the best places you could have stopped; the River Yealm - Newton & Noss. You'd have loved it there. A mad bunch of locals including me! :)
I've been waiting all quarantine for this! Loving the series!
Just catching up on all of these and I have to say. Its absolutely brilliant. Love the way you are filming and editing this and you are doing something I have always wanted to do. Just wonderful thank you.
Still coming back in 2024 for the Castle Food. It just looks so good.
Well I have just come across this adventure. I have binged watched so far. I have to say it’s just excellently produced. Great music, nothing to complicated. Great watching and certainly inspiring. I’m hoping to do similar in a motorhome and take my boat and kayak with me! Great stuff
I only found this channel 2 days ago and watched all your boat content so far.
Mainly I must be the only person that thought “ooooh an Avantime!”
Hi. Really enjoying your journey. Great company a few good jokes and ever present good grub. We were on the Hurtigruten boat which you "shelled" on it's way into Dartmouth!!
The soldering outside under the tarp reminded me about me doing the same years back when I had bought my first small speedboat. More or less the same size as yours but completely polyester. Also spend hours and hours under the tarp with some light to outfit it during rainy winter nights. The good old days. Your dash looks great.
Love the laid back but professional approach, brolly sums it up!
One of the best things on RUclips at the moment, I bet he ends up with a brand new sponsored rib for the round the country the including Ireland edition lol either way I can’t wait
This series is so much fun to watch.
That cover was brilliant! The dashboard is so neat!
Can I just say I adore this channel. I really like the production values which are spot on IMHO. It helps that you Harry, and your friends and accomplices are clearly very talented engineers, amateur historians, Boat Captains, and flipping funny to, complete Polymaths. I beam when I see a new episode posted. Thanks for creating this content, its much appreciated and thoroughly entertaining.
I thought I'd seen all these but I must've missed a few! New cover looks super functional
This series is so coooozy. : )
WOW, SO MUCH COOL! this one is extremly special, excellent music choices and edditing!
Love the Dash and the Cover!
think you've done a fantastic job on the boat the dash is a gem also your skill at sexing dolphins is second to none. Keep it up great work
Epically good Harry and the 'titfers' are a touch of genius. I doff my hat to you sir
Thanks again a thousand times my man. Your videos make my entire week. And that's saying something, as I am already a significantly windswept and interesting man.
Cant wait to see more of this amazing channel again.
Loved your video 👍🏽 Being home so much I’m watching a Shit load of RUclips and I stumbled on your channel. Thank you for helping me pass the time in a fun way 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 From California !!!!
Makes my day when these pop up!
So nice to see something different, love your energy and enthusiasm great stuff.
Well it was a long wait Harry...but worth it. Looking forward to your summer adventures.
Classic west country weather!
What healthy eating! Jammy Dodgers, Scotch eggs, bangers and baked beans. Just what Big Wet Nurse ordered!
Such a fantastic series, hilarious, full of history and some great scenes
Harry, thank you! this latest video is SALVE for a SORE WORLD.
thank you
Such beautiful landscapes and fun side trips! Can you imagine having one of those lovely homes right on the sea?
Wonderful. Thanks Harry
very beautiful cover for the Goodwin...
