Ron Howard's career certainly wasn't a result of The Waltons. Howard was a household name fifteen years before he made a guest appearance on The Waltons.
Sissy Spasik was HAND PICKED by Loretta Lynne to play her on "Coal Miner's Daughter" and age wascrge Perfect choice!. The Run Howard episode was very touching, especially towards then end when Jason finds out the character had a terminal disease
While I loved The Waltons, this special just kept talking around in circles and was full of inaccuracies. How many times did they have to tell that the show began in 1972 or mention the bond between castmates?
Artificial intelligence WW 2 and the show took place in the Blue Ridge Mountains not the Appalachian mtns 2 separate sets of Mountains they link but Charlottesville Va is surrounded by the blue ridge Mtns
Lol this is an ignorant millennial not even born when this series originally aired, Judy Norton's RUclips channel will give you more accurate information.
He was NOT flaming! If you are referring to his bisexuality, that is not flaming. Many people, that you have no idea of, are bisexual.......and they are NOT flaming!
I know he was credited as David W. Harper, but the W stood for William. Not sure where they got Westerman. I often hear many errors in these types of videos.
An amazing show that still holds a very special place with fans like me
Love the show

THE WALTONS did not deal with the Vietnam conflict during the series run nor did Patricia Neal appear int he weekly series.
No it didn't deal with Vietnam. This is stating the WW2 setting airing during the Vietnam time period made it relatable.
Blue Ridge Mountains not Appalachian
I Thought It Was World war II Not Vietnam?
It was WWll

@@ericsneary5430 - I think one of the TV movies was in Nam.
Grandpa Walton was flaming.
He was NOT flaming! If you are referring to his bisexuality, that is not flaming. Many people, that you have no idea of, are bisexual.......and they are NOT flaming!
I know!
Both the Walton grandparents actors, will Greer and Elen Corby came out as gay.
My favorite Walton child was Erin.
David Westerman? Harper! Lol

John ooy
Patricia Neal was never on any of the tv episodes
World War II not Vietnam.
This is saying that the WW2 setting mirrored the Vietnam War. Not that it was set during it.
