Great video! If you do a part 2, I highly recommend El Veganito and Split Bakehouse. The first is a vegan Mexican restaurant and the second is a vegan bakery. These two places are in Grossmont Center in La Mesa, just east of SD. Also, Evolution fast food is close to Balboa Park.
Omg that’s amazing ! 🤩 hope you have a great time! Please let the servers know it was because of my video 😆 Another place I didn’t get to feature is Tacotarian but you should check it out
Some really great spots in this video. I’d absolutely love to visit San Diego. Did you find the vegan Mozarella in the caprese salad was true to taste as well as texture? I had a vegan caprese a little a while ago in my hometown and I really hated the cheese. It wasn’t as soft looking at that one tho!
Just found your channel and subbed. If you come back to San Diego, I'd recommend Tacotarian in North Park, Plant Power in Ocean Beach, and Jyhoti Bihanga's in Normal Heights. Vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options.
the eggplant pasta at civico was my favorite, highly recommend if you end up back there 🤤 loved this video and love your channel! @travelchannel sponsor Eunice WHEN
hahaha orgasmic is your expression !! - the food DOES look amazing - love watching your vids, your passion, energy, descriptions, short nails (i cringe watching food handlers with long painted nails) love from australia
I’ve been vegan for 10 years. I’ve lived in SD all these years and i prefer to drive to LA for food , than to have the overpriced food here in SD also Donna Jean doesn’t always have great customer service. Cívico sucks to Be honest. You should’ve tried cesarina in Point Loma.
@@ratedvfood negative ? when all I said was they are overpriced and their service is not always great lol. I gave you a better suggestion and I was negative?. You got problems girl, definitely unfollowed you on IG.
Most of these look like way too miuch carb and suger and not enough nutrition for me. I also do not like things like fake meat or fake dairy, or soy or tofu. I am looking for a place that has rice or potato concoctions with nuts or legumes, mushrooms, seeds, vegetables, garlic ginger turmeric healthy oils (but not deep fried or covered in batter). And fruits. Food that is vegan but also filling and good for your heart immune system, gut, energy, muscles, brain, etc.
