Most intimidating band I have ever heard. Many times they send a chill up your spine......And I remember when the album came out in 1976. Still serious stuff!!!!!! GREAT!

Cocksparrer was playing punk in 72', The Damned released the first punk single in 76', A sleazy sex shop owner told you he invented punk rock and you people just believe it without any research. All they were first at, is the first punk band to sell out to major labels for the big money and fame, so punk rock...

I used to be fan of these nice boys, back in my boyhood days. For a period, I was playing the Bollock record , days out and days in. I still listen to it , and even if I become pretty old, about 60 or 70, I will still be able to enjoy the great stuff of the Pistol guys. Steve Jones must be one of the most underrated guitarist ever in rock and roll. Matlock and Cook, is very good, too. McLaren, said in an interview that if he had discovered Sid before John, Sid would've been the lead vocalist, of this band. Well, I'm actually glad that he spotted John first, and Sid a bit later. . .

He has had 20+ years to learn how to play, when this was filmed. Steve Jones is still a joke. Chris Spedding played guitar on the album Jones couldn't play much better than Sid, at the time. The Sex Pistols were not the first punk band, The Damned were. And The Damned are better and still more entertaining. Even PiL can't compare, Lydon hasn't made a good record for over 20 years.

He was in the band because he was a mate, and because the manager thought he had the right punk look and attitude. It's a known fact. Go look it up. I was offered $1,000 dollars for it but no I will just save it and pass it on to my son and it can then be passed on for thousands of years. Yeah, right!

Biggest mistake the Pistols made was to get rid of Matlock (bass) when could play and replace him with Vicious who couldn't play a note. Actually, Jones, Cook and Matlock are very very good musicians in their own right... especially Jones, and they could hold their own in any company. Lydon's voice is one of the most recognisable and The Pistols still send shivers down my spine nearly 50 years since they burst on to the scene. Still the greatest.
